"Bad Things Happen To Good People"

Cecelia's P.O.V

I wake up with my eyes felling heavy. "Where am I?" I look around and saw the place that I always am.

The nurse's office

"You're in the nurse's office honey." The nurse also known as Mrs. Anne said

"Like usual." Yes it's basically normal for me to the nurse's office. I'm here like everyday.

"Hey don't be down. You wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for that young lady over there." I turn my head in the direction Mrs. Anne pointed and I saw a girl smiling and waving at me. It wasn't just any girl. It was the girlfriend of my bully. It was Emily Pearson.

She doesn't know that her own boyfriend did this to me. Emily thinks that he's a kind and gentle. But in reality he's disrespectful and abusive. Well only to me, not anyone else.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when Mrs. Anne said "I'm really getting tired of saying this but Christy you need to go to your guidance counselor." Before I could deny that I don't need to go Mrs. Anne beat me to it "Your going."

"Ok.Fine." I jump out of the nurses bed and excited the door.

Emily speed up beside me and started to walk with me. Doesn't she need to be with her boyfriend or something? I take out my phone and the screen read 2:10.

"Emily. Right?" "Yup" she popped out the 'p'

"Ya we have 5 minutes till the bell rings so I don't think I'll go to my guidance councilor. So bye." I start to walk to my locker when I hear a loud bell ring in my ear and see a bunch of students flooding the hall way.

I walk straight to my locker ignoring the glares and rude remark towards me. I take my books and notes from my locker and put them in my purple and black Jansports backpack. I put my backpack and walk down the hall way with my head down when suddenly someone called my name. I turn my head to the left and see Emily was moving her hand telling to me to come to her. I walk over to her feeling a little awkward.

"Hi Emily" I said starting the conversation. "Hey Cecelia. What's up?" she said with a smile on her face.

"Nothing, just going home. You?" "On a Friday! You know what were going shopping" she offered. I was about to say no but she cut me off."And I'm not taking no for an answer." "Ok fine"

We both started to burst out in laughter. It lasted for about 5 minutes and died down. I never laughed like this in a long time since the incident that happened one year ago.

We talked to each other for a while when we were interrupted by someone calling Emily's name. Emily turned around to see who was calling her name. It was Luke. More like Puke.

"What was that?" I look up and see everyone staring at me. I didn't even notice I said that out loud. "I said hey its Luke. Someone needs to listen ." I giggled and Emily joined 'me.

"Ha Ha very funny." Luke knows he couldn't do anything in front of Emily because he knows she'll drop his ass so hard right then and there."Hey Lukey I'm going to go shopping with Cecelia I'll call you later.Okay?

"Okay, just be safe and have fun!" he kissed her cheek. We waved good bye to the boys and went our separate way. Emily and I walked towards her Lamborghini.

"Wow. Nice car." It was a nice pink Lamborghini with black rims with license plate saying 'TOO CUTE'. " Thanks my dad got it for my 19th birthday this year." "Cool!"

We hoped into her car and speed of down the road. "So are you coming to my Halloween party this weekend?" I never go to parties. You see I stay home and help my mom and be good child. I never really partied and got drunk like every other teen. You might as well say I'm not like everyone else.
