Clementine's POV

As I walk back into Ricky's house the warmth engulfs me. I shiver as my body welcomes the heat.

"Warming up?"

Chris asks me from the couch in the living room. I smile at him as I nod. As Chris pats the spot beside him on the couch he says,

"Come sit little girl."

I make my way into the living room and sit beside Chris. I remember I'm wearing his hoodie. As I begin to take it off over my head I feel my shirt start to ride up over my ribs. Once I get the hoodie completely off over my head I quickly pull my shirt back down, a slight blush invading my cheeks. Chris however, doesn't seem to mind at all for he's staring at me. He clears his throat as he licks his lips.

"You have no idea how hard this is for me, baby."

Chris says. As I hand him his hoodie back I say confusedly,

"I just took the hoodie off?"

Chris chuckles as he puts his hoodie back on.

"You're so naive, little one."

Chris says as I hear Ricky and Vinny coming back down the stairs. I excitedly spring up off the couch. As I make my way over to Vinny his expression grows confused.

"I thought I told you to go outside?"

Vinny says.

"I did."

I say.

"Can we talk?"

Vinny says, motioning his finger between him and I. I nod as he takes me by the wrist and drags me upstairs to what I presume is Ricky's room.

"I told you to go outside because I didn't want you around Chris."

Vinny says as he shuts Ricky's bedroom door, whisper yelling.

"I did go outside, but Chris came out too."

I admit.

"What!?"

Vinny raises his voice. I nod as I say,

"He was really nice. He gave me his hoodie when I was cold and he even apologized for scaring me."

Vinny bites his lip angrily. Sensing Vinny's anger I look down at my feet.

"You're upset with me..."

I state. The look on Vinny's face softens as he reaches out for my arm. He tips my head up so my gaze meets his.

"Baby, I'm not upset with you. I'm upset with Chris. That's who Ricky and I were talking about actually."

Vinny says, his voice softer than before.

"What about him?"

I ask as I look up into Vinny's eyes, tilting my head to the side.

"I don't like him being around you, baby. I don't trust him."
