My name is Dolores. I'm named after the town Dolores that is in Mexico.
I was born on the anniversary of the day they obtained independence.
It is also my great abuelita's name.
I am a run away and I will not only tell you my story but the story of extraordinary people I met on my path to survival and freedom.
There are many stories that lie within my story. In order to tell you this story I must first tell the story of those before me.
I must warn you that these stories don't always have a happy ending.
