Chapter 4

Hannah's POV
Me and Shawn got the shopping into my room and I got a bikini out and got into it. I walked over to Shawn's room and knocked.

"Shawn, are you decent?" I asked.

"Yes I am!" He replied.

I walked in and sat on his bed.

"Hey Hannah I was thinking after we get into the pool I could teach you to ride a penny board, in the evenings it's so fun!" He said smiling.

"Yeah sure, I'd love to" I said laying down

"Good I have a spare pink one in the cupboard you can have. Are you ready to go in the pool?" He asked.

"Yeah let's go!" I yelled laughing.

Shawn picked me up and I squealed. He walked towards the pool he threw me in.

"SHAWN!!" I screamed and he stood there laughing.

I climbed out the pool and dragged Shawn in with me and laughed.

"That's what you get" I laughed in his face.

We spent over 2 hours just playing around in the pool.

"Shawn? Can we get out now?" I asked him.

"Yes we can, it's getting a bit cold now anyway" he smiled and picked me up.

He gently placed me on the floor and wrapped a towel round me. We walked inside and I went into my room and changed. I got changed into a pair of blue jeans, a t-shirt and a grey hoodie. I went downstairs and sat on the couch and kept thinking about my life in the orphanage. I started crying then Shawn came down.

"Hannah do you wa- what's wrong Hun?" He came and sat me on his lap holding me tightly.

"Nothing, it's okay Shawn" I wiped my tears quickly and smiled at him.

"Please tell me..." he looked at me worried.

"Fine...I kept getting flash backs from the orphanage" I started to cry again.

Shawn's POV

"Fine...I kept getting flash backs from the orphanage" Hannah then started to cry again.

"Hey baby it's okay" I said holding her close to me and rocking us side to side.

"Shawn you promise you'll never leave me and take me back to the orphanage" she looked at me with blood shot eyes.

"I would never do that ever, I will always put you first babygirl" I said rubbing her back.

I felt so bad for her. She grew up in a bad environment where no one liked her. Just thinking about it made me start crying. I took her off my lap and went to my room.

"Shawn..?" He called out my name and I walked upstairs.

Hannah's POV

"Shawn..?" I called out his name and then he walked off upstairs.

After a few minutes I went upstairs and listened outside his room. I could hear sobbing...

"Shawn?" I knocked on his door.

He didn't reply so I opened the door gently and walked in. I saw him holding a stuffed lion and crying. I ran straight to him and hugged him tightly.

"Don't cry Shawn...please" I looked at him sadly.

"I'm sorry...I can't help it, you went through hell and I'm sorry" he said crying.

"It's not your fault, I'm just so happy that you came to adopt me" I smiled and then he smiled.

"How about we just try and forgot your past as much as we can and think about the future?" He said. I nodded and started playing with his toy.

"What's it's name?" I asked.

"His name's Leo, I got him when I was born and I still have him now" he smiled and then put his arm around me.

"Hey Shawn can we go on a late night drive tonight..? You know just us two?" I asked.

"Of course we can baby, anything that you want" he smiled and went to the bathroom and washed his face.

I put on my trainers, hat and scarf because it's really cold outside and waited by the door. He came down and opened the door to his car for me and I got in. We drove out of our road and I turned on the music and Justin Bieber started playing. Me and Shawn both sung along to the words and then we stopped on a field.

"We're here" he said helping me out the car.

"This is beautiful" I said looking up at the stars.

"I've never showed or came here with anyone but you" he said putting me on his shoulders.

"This can be our secret place where we make Harry Potter sticks because there's loads of sticks on the ground" I said playing with his hair.

"Oh my god you like Harry Potter?" He asked looking up at me.

"Hell yeah! I'm in Gryffindor!" I said smiling.

"So am I! This is amazing!" He smiled at me.

I knew from the start he was the right person...
