Denna pulled her hood up around her head ahain, trying to hide all the stray, green hair on her head. It was so brightly colored, bound to draw attention from the officer walking up ahead. She hid herself In a huge black hoodie and black leggings, hoping to blend into the dark alleys and buildings around her. She desperately tried to slow her panicked breathing, it too would draw attention.

It wasnt that denna was a criminal but that she was a run away. Not that she really ran away by choice... it was a complex situation. Either way she didn't have papers to be in the center of the city. She held her breath as the officer came closer to her spot in the shadows.

Just as the tension in her chest got stronger and stronger the officer froze. Denna shut her eyes tightly, the officer ran off across the street pulling a sc an net out of his pocket and waving it through the air. She let out her air in relief. She looked at what he had dragged out from behind a fire escape, it was a kid her age. He jerked the kids tight beanie off to reveal bright blue hair, it was even more dramatically colored then her own. She held in a gasp. Denna knew she had to do something that hair was a beacon that screamed how far this kid was from home, probably more then 20 miles away!

Denna looked around and found a rusty hubcap to her right. She picked it up and repeated in her head, she was saving a life. She braced for the worse and three it as hard as she could, like a frisbee, down the road. it fell loudly and the officer dropped the kid to point a gun in its direction. As he stalked away from the kid denna made her move.

She sprinted across the road as a car drove by the other side making it impossible to hear her. She grabbed the kid up by the collar and together they sprinted into another alley, they made more and more drastic turns.

Finnaly they were safe but very out of breath and there was no telling what kind of thugs could be near. They stopped and caught their breath and the kid she'd saved finnally looked up with fear In his eyes. She pulled off her hood and a huge amount of krinkled, green hair billoed out. He saw the color and sighed, knowing he was fine and this wasn't someone looking for a reward.
"I'm denna." She said holding out a hand for him to shake. He took it cautiously.
"I'm Myan,"  he replied still looking very confused ", why would you help me? You could've gotten caught."
She laughed.
"You would've been killed. I would 've gotten escored out and maybe dyed a lighter color so what?"
His face changed some as he understood it a little better. He was very grateful that this small girl had saved him.

"How old are you?" He asked her trying to start up a conversation to prove she hadn't wasted her time in saving him.

"Im 14 what about you?" She said it causally dispute the fact that normally those under 16 very rarely were able to get into the more urban cities. And this was one of the 10 capital cities in the modern world of 3056.

Myan raised his eyebrows in awe as it was a real achievement on her part. If she could make it in the city for long enough they'd dye her hair jet black like the elegant citizens here.

"Wow, I'm 17..." he said impressed, "do you have a plan ?"

She smirked.
"I do, and it'll be much easier with some help... I'm going to break into the root and steal dye and contacts!"
His eyes got very wide at this it was basically impossible.

She was shuffling around in a backpack when at pulled out a black dress and heeled shoes, along with a hajab. She explained how a would look like a sleek movie star named alahab qourtel sceduled to be there on a certain date.

"This is going down tomorow, It's my only open window, no one will try to scan her she comes from a place where it's offensive to do so... it's fullproof, and I've got these!" Denna handed him papers from the bag she had been going through.

Mayan held them up to the light to see easier, it was a map of the root buildings , all three stories of both buildings. She had sketched out a rough line and x'ed a spot on one. She waited silently as he read over them, she showed excited anticipation.

"Are you in?" She asked excitedly. He shook his head in disbelief with his eyebrows raised.

" i don't have anything better to do." He laughed.

Denna beamed and started to think over some things.

"We'll need to find you a position and memorize it..." She pondered " and you can be a personal security guard to her, I could pretend to be upset and offened if they scan you... perfect! we have to find clothes for you."
