"He's here, right?" I looked over to the mint-haired Yoongi and nodded. "Let's get this over with then."

I just met him, and he's already helping me out so much. He's making it so hard to not fall for him. Wait, what am I saying? I don't even know if he likes men. I am being ridiculous.

"Hey, focus. I don't want you to get hurt." Yoongi scolded me.

I could only muster a quick "okay" before we walked into the crumbling building.

The building was void of light, save a few flickering ceiling lamps and a dim light coming from a room at the back of the building. We carefully walked to the dim light and peeked in.

"That'll teach him!" A mere lackey shouted towards a man sprawled on the floor. He was clutching his stomach and was littered with bruises and cuts. "Nobody gets close to boss!" The lackey took a huff of a cigarette before stomping it out.

"He... He's not here." Yoongi lightly hit the back of my head.

"You said he was, damn it!" He whisper screamed at me.

"Well-"

"Oh, but I am." I gasped and turned around to the deep voice. It belonged to that "boss", Kim Namjoon.

"J-Joonie..." I stuttered. However, his attention was long averted towards the man on the floor.

"Jinnie!" He had run over to the "Jinnie" on the floor, and cupped the man's cheeks with his hands. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" His face was hard and devoid of any compassion for the man standing in front of him.

Weird, I thought he ordered them to do it.

"B-boss! Um, I was just... Leaving!" The lackey attempted to run, but was easily and quickly caught by Namjoon.

"No, you don't. You're fucking dead." The murderous aura around Namjoon was something I had never seen before.

But... How is that possible? I thought he always hurt people. Why is his violence so new and... Surprising?

"Hey. Let him go." Yoongi spoke up.

"No way in hell. Nobody messes with my baby." Namjoon didn't once take his eyes off of the lackey.

"Joonie... Please let him go. You don't want to kill." My voice was shaking. But, somehow, I knew what I said was true.

Namjoon struggled for a moment before shoving the man to the ground.

"Get out of my sight. Before I change my mind." He glared at the crying mess as he ran from the building. "Jimin. Tell me why you're here. Quick."

"What the fuck did you do to Jungkook." I didn't hesitate. Namjoon may be scary, but Jungkook is my top priority.

Maybe not for much longer... I snuck a glance at Yoongi.

"What do you mean?" Namjoon looked genuinely confused.

"Just because we broke up doesn't mean you can hurt him." I glared at the tall, pink haired male.

"Jimin. I have no idea what you're talking about. What happened to Jungkook?"

Namjoon doesn't smoke.

That thought invaded my head.

"Namjoon, I'm sorry. I made an assumption, and you know what they say about those..." I looked at "Jinnie" and saw the crushed cigarette on the ground, next to his crippled body. "It was that bastard..." I said to myself.

A part of me wished that I hadn't asked Namjoon to let him go. A part of me now wished to see his corpse at my feet. I wanted to see him pay for what he did to Jungkook

"Jimin... I'm quitting. I'm dethroning myself." The well-known gang leader bowed to me. "I'm sorry for everything I caused you."

I was absolutely stunned. Quitting?

But this was no time to think.

"Namjoon." He raised his head. "I don't blame you. Not anymore, at least." I smiled at him.

"Thank you." He straightened himself up and immediately focused all of his attention on the man laying on the ground. "Honey... Where does it hurt? How bad is it?"

I looked the man up and down. He had a few shallow cuts, some small bruises. The only things that really would cause trouble were his swollen ankle and the larger wound on his side.

"Namjoon." He looked at me, eyes full of worry. "Come on. Take him to my place." I started towards the door.

"Yeah... Thank you." He sighed in relief. Namjoon seemed calmer, but I heard him mumbling calming words to his partner.

*

Namjoon, Seokjin (as I learned his name was), Yoongi, and I were all gathered on my living room couch. We were relaxing, watching a movie. Seokjin had fallen asleep from all of the stress of his day.

"Your new boyfriend?" I looked at the pink haired Namjoon. Only he could make pink hair look so badass and intimidating.

"Yeah." He smiled to himself as he ran his fingers through Seokjin's brown hair.

"He must be a good one. You stepped down for him." I said, meant as a compliment. Namjoon mistook it for jealousy.

"I'm sorry. You are wonderful. But... With Seokjin, no matter what, I just feel... Right." Namjoon said, somewhat to himself.

"Don't misunderstand. I'm happy for you. I know we weren't meant for each other. Now, you can be happy." I smiled and Namjoon returned it.

"Looks like you can, too." He winked at me.

"What do you mean?" All of a sudden, I felt a head fall into my lap. Yoongi. "Oh. I... Hope so."

I sat there, admiring Yoongi's sleeping face. Even though I have never been a devout Christian, or even a believer at all, I sent up a prayer at that moment. Make this man mine.
