Brooklyns POV; (Point Of View)
And so I see the start of another shitty day.
I woke up, 6am exactly. Abruptly threw on any clothes I could find on my floor, and ran down stairs.
As usual I came down to see my parents bonding over breakfast.
"Just heading out for a coffee I'll be back in a bit", I shouted as I raced out the door.I strolled down the road, earphones in my ear listening to what Spotify recommended for me.
Into the coffee shop I went, ordering my usual.
$2.50."I'll pay for that", A male voice said as he reached over me and handed the cashier the notes.
I turned around and stared at him. Confused at what had just happened. It felt like something from a movie."Thanks?", I replied as I took my coffee up.
"Anytime babe, I was just wondering if I could get your number? I mean it would be cool if I could. As friends maybe if you're into that?", the unknown boy said.
Although I was cringing at what was going on, I agreed to give this boy, short with curly hair and an outstanding smile, my number.
"Thank you! Catch you around I guess... And oh I'll text you later!", the voice shouted as he walked away back to his friends, all of them which were grinning. Five of them all together. They all sat drinking coffee looking like some sort of band that girls my age would go crazy over.
I left the shop with my coffee. What happened me was such a bizarre experience but I'm not going to lie of course I liked the attention.
I wandered home, unaware of how much of an impact that boy was going to have on my life.
