I kept walking to work thinking about what happend. As soon as I arrived to work, I told my friends about what had happened. Only one of my friends believed me,and that friend was a girl. Her name was Carrie. She told me to stay here to do studies while she went to talk to the manager in his office. After she left I studied for a little bit and wondered what was taking so long and decided to find out. As I crept to the office I heard loud yelling coming from what sounded like the manager. "What are you,CRAZY?!?"the manager yelled. "Talking about objects falling from the sky like that." "But it's true!"exclaimed Carrie. "I even heard Amari say he saw it!" "Well then, if you believe in him so much, you're FIRED!!! "Those words cut through me like a knife through an apple. I still regret it when he said that. Slowly I went to the lab almost to crying point. When she joined me in the lab and told me the news. I told her I already knew, and I tried to help pack but she wouldn't let me because she told me I am the reason she got FIRED. I tried to finish my work,but it was impossible.Maybe she was right. Maybe I WAS the reason she got fired.
