Aaron's POV

When he saw that guy that looked like Ein, he died a little inside. He had flashbacks, his eyes turned red, he went into a trance. He knew SOMETHING like this was bound to happen, but he didn't want Aphmau to actually be there to witness it. He had ALMOST turned her. He could have killed her. She could've died. And it would be because of him.

He lay awake tossing and turning. Whenever he fell asleep he would hear Aph saying things like, "'You are nothing' 'I felt bad for you' 'I NEVER loved you!" He couldn't tell Aphmau about this, He just couldn't. He quietly sat up and tiptoed out of the room. He walked over to the balcony overlooking starlight wonderland, and pulled up a chair. Why was his life so hard? He just wanted to live with his girlfriend. If he couldn't control his eyes, he could kill someone. It could be anyone, Zane, Garroth, Lucinda, or any random person.

He tried so hard to stay positive, he really did. But it was hard, being the odd one out. He was always alone when he was growing up, but its different, feeling alone, yet being surrounded by friends. Just then Melissa walked up to him on the balcony. Her eyes were blurry with sleep, and she had a bath robe on over her pjs. "Aaron?!" she asked, suddenly wide awake. "hm?" he said back. " are you ok?" "Yea, why?" By this time, Aaron had pulled his purple hoodie's hood over his head, casting a shadow over his glowing red eyes. "Well, for starters" Melissa said "You're up at 3:27 am and it looks like you haven't gotten any sleep at all!" "Your up now too!" Aaron said in his best angsty teen voice. "Aaaaand! Your eyes are red again, sorry" Melissa said in her annoying big sister voice.

"Have you been having nightmares again, Aaron?" Melissa asked suddenly. Aaron looked away. "Wanna talk about it?" "No" "Ookay then. I'll go back to bed."she yawned. "Wait, Melissa." his ears drooped, his tail lay limp, "do you think i'll ever fit in?" Melissa paused at the doorway and looked back, "Aaron, silly! You already fit in!"
