Love ya

Aaron sneaked back near their room. He was hoping when he fell asleep his eyes would turn back and no one would notice. But no, of course not.

Aphmau was up and she looked worried. She was pacing back and forth. She was crying. He knew he should go to her,he really wanted to, but instead he listened in with his werewolf ears. He heard the names "Maria" and "Aaron" quite a lot. Why would Aph be anxious about Maria?

He took a deep breath and calmed himself. He looked in the nearest mirror and saw Black sparkling eyes shining back at him in the 4-in-the-morning light coming through the window. He walked in. She didn't notice until he wrapped his arms around her comfortingly from behind.

She did an adorable squeal. "H-hey! calm down" He said stepping away, "its just me!" "There you are Aaron! I was scared you..ran off.." "A-Aphmau?" he asked, suddenly nervous "what's going on, I-I heard you talking about me...and Maria?" he blurted. "You know you can tell me anything Aph" he reached for a hug, but she turned away slightly.

"D-do you l-l-like, like Maria? Aaron?" He jumped back a bit, "What?!, No! Aph, why would you think that?" No response. There was a long pause and then- "You and her are really close, Aaron, don't try to deny it!" Aaron said calmly "Yes, but I DON'T like her the way I like you, or anything close to that. She's a good friend" -Another pause- "Why would you want to be friends with someone like her?" "she's nice!" "she wasn't to me Aaron!" Aph completely broke down sobbing. Aaron thought to himself |oh no, Aph,please don't cry| Aaron hugged her "What did she say to you, Aph?" "Sh-she s-said to stop calling you alpha 'cause there is no alpha female, and if there was, I certainly wouldn't be it. And That I was a human,and....and.....werewolves and humans......hardly EVER work out" Aaron said "We WILL work out Aph! We've got to get you some muscles!" Aphmau started giggling in between sobs, but soon she was laughing herself silly.

Aphmau was still tired, so Aaron lifted her onto the bed and tucked her in. He then sat down on his sleeping bag, ready to finally sleep. "Aaron" He lifted her head to her level "yes?" "C-could you sleep with m-me u-up here again please?" Aaron, blushing, said "s-sure" He climbed in bed and lay down next to Aph. He gently kissed the top of her head and said softy, "Love ya, Aph!<3"
