Normal day. Not too normal. But normal. Walking through the woods, looking for something. My lost dog. Been looking for her since I was three. I'm five now. Probably the case is
My dog is dead.
But I won't believe it. 'Cause I can't believe it. But then I smell something, and I get curious. Rotting meat. Ew. Not to me though. The stuff comes dripping from my eyes. The hot, red, sticky blood. I leap on the meat and claw it beyond recognition. I just killed my dog. Smelled horrible. Been missing for two years. I heard something and look behind me. I see a man wearing a white bloodstained hoodie. He is staring at me. I don't know what to say. This is almost too much for me. I run up to him unknowingly, and I don't even know about the amount of blood on my face and pouring from my eyes. He picks me up using nothing but a knife. I must be weak. But I know that I am not. I know I'm not scared. I put on my most aggressive face I can, and it's so clear I am faking it I wonder how he didn't see it. He looks at me in the eyes.
"Weird kid. My name's Jeff. I won't kill ya 'cause I don't exactly know what you ARE. What's your name?"
"K-K-" I gulp. He looks at me up and down then stares at me in the eyes again. He hasn't blinked this whole time, must not have eyelids.
"C'mon, you can do it!" Jeff beckoned.
"Korona. K-Korona Jane Hess." I manage to say, not noticing my aggressive tone and face was slowly dying. Then he took me somewhere. To a house.
