Chapter 8

Somehow I managed to finish the whole bottle, and oh boy, I was drunk now.

"It looks like someone is having fun alone" a voice said, and when I turned I saw Hyourin holding a glass, while sipping from it. It was probably the effect of the alcohol but in that moment, he looked stunning.

"Certainly more than you are, Lord Commander" I said laughing. Damn, I was really out.

"And it also looks like you were not joking when you said you were going to finish the whole bottle by yourself. For being a mere human girl, you are a strong drinker. I am impressed" he said.

"I know I am, now give me more" I begged.

"I was not expecting you to beg for me so soon" he smirked evilly. I just rolled my eyes in response, but it somehow created a knot in my stomach at the only thought of what his words implied.

"I will never beg you for that. Now even in a million y-y-years" I protested. I tried to stand up but my legs gave up. I was about to fall but Hyourin's strong arm grabbed me by the bicep firmly and kept me up.

"Where do you think you are going when you can barely stand on your feet" he said looking down at me.

"I want more of whatever I was drinking" I growled in annoyance.

"You certainly are not getting more of that unless your aim is to loose your senses" he responded amused. "Come with me" he ordered.

"Come where?" I asked.

"I'm certain that you will enjoy it, and do not worry. I won't do anything to you, unless you ask me to, of course". He gave me a wicked smile, which I just responded to it by rolling my eyes, once more.

As I said that, I started following him, walking behind him, with my head somewhere in the clouds due to the level of alcohol. I was feeling great. It actually felt like I was high rather than drunk, and I was loving every second of it.

We then got in front of another door. Everything was dark and I could barely see anything. "Close your eyes" he said.

"Hmm, whaaat?" I asked.

He just laughed at my drunkenness. "Close your eyes and keep them sealed. I won't hurt you, do no be afraid".

I was not in the mood for arguing, so I just did what he said. I heard the squeaky sound of the door opening, and soon I felt his hand grabbing my arm. He was moving me, and for some reason, I trusted him completely. Again, probably due to the effect of the liquor. "You can now open them".

As I opened my eyes, the view in front of me was breathtaking.

We were in a 360 degree room which overlooked over space. A gigantic red star was right in front of me. I could see the eruptions coming out from it. Even the floor was see-through, as the billions of stars gave color to the black background.

Tears formed at the corner of my eyes, and a big genuine smile appeared on my face. I looked over and saw Lord Hyourin examining me. I could not stop smiling. It was the most beautiful and memorable experience of my life.

"So even you are capable of cracking a smile". Hyourin's voice broke the silence but I still could not stop looking at the incredible view before me. It was as if I was under a spell and I wasn't capable of breaking free, or more, I didn't want to.
