The next day after his date he went off to work, but he wasn't there for long. His boss brought him into his office to inform him that due to budget cuts they would have to let him go. He packed up his stuff and left. Unsure what to do he wandered around town aimlessly. Soon it got dark and he decided to head home. On his way he noticed a girl standing across the street. She was wearing all black, had shoulder length honey colored hair and a beautiful face. She began to walk across the street towards Jacob.

"Oh great, what now?"

She began talking to him and he brushed her off and gave vague replies. Then she offered to come over to his place, and although he wasn't really interested, he agreed. He led her around the corner to his building and into his apartment. Then she pulled him into the bedroom. She began to undress and he saw how beautiful she was under her clothes. In his depressive state he was unwilling to undress himself, but when she began to unbutton his pants he decided he could help by removing his shirt. She climbed on top of him and began kissing him, although he was not really in the mood he couldn't help but get excited. Then she pulled handcuffs out, Jacob had never tried anything like that and wasn't about to so he declined. Her face fell and she looked like she was trying to figure out a puzzle. Then she went back to grab something else, he watched her hand and saw the glint of a knife. Although he did not really want to die, he didn't want to fight it. He looked up at the girl with pleading eyes hoping she would spare him.

It must have worked because she began to put her knife away. She got dressed and he just watched her unsure of what to do. She came up to him, kissed his neck and she was gone, and all Jacob could think is "that's the girl for me"
