I'm sure we all have had one of those days
One of those days where everything is going wrong and nothing will go the way you were hoping,

Today is one of those days for me..
I slept through my alarm, my phone wasn't fully charged because apparently my charger was broken, also I burned my breakfast and to put a cherry on top I was late at work because traffic in LA is a... not so nice person *cough*
And all this happened while I haven't even been awake for a hour!

So yeah, my job.. I work for a little bookstore, the total amount of people that work here is 3 so it sure is little. We also don't even have that many costumers per day. That does mean there isn't that much work, but it sure can be boring.. but like I said before this was a day that everything that could go wrong, went wrong.
After I was late my boss thought it would be a great idea to give me a speech about how I have been late too many times, after that I had to carry boxes of the new books to the front of the shop, but it slipped and I dropped it onto my foot and another thing was that there were so many people in the shop that were just straight up mean. Sooo good times right?

Luckily my shift is done now and I can finally do something relaxing, so after I grabbed my bag and put in my headphones. I went to the Starbucks (I have never been tbh but don't hate lol) that was only a few minutes away from the shop. When I went to order my favorite drink there, they of course didn't have it.. so I had to get something else. After I got my ^only hope to make this day a little less miserable^ drink, I turned around to walk to a table were no one was sitting but this didn't go as smoothly as hoped. When I turned around I wasn't really paying attention and walked right into someone that just walked inside the store and I spilled my drink all over his shirt, luckily it wasn't a hot drink.. 'Oh my god! I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention where I was going! I'm so so sorry! I prob-' I immediately rambled but before I could apologies another 30 times the person in front of me was just softly giggling. 'It's alright, don't worry. You didn't mean to and I also wasn't really paying attention.' He then told me. 'Well I'm glad you aren't mad at me for ruining your shirt and maybe even your day..' I said softly while looking at the ground and with a feeling of guilt and embarrassment. 'Hey, it is alright! You may have kinda ruined my shirt, you didn't ruin my day!' He said with again a little giggle, a sound that was weirdly familiar to me..
When I finally had found the courage to look this person in the eye that now had my drink on his shirt, the first thing I saw was a very striking blue head of hair, than beautiful hazel eyes, a friendly smile and some red spots all over his face. 'You know, I think we now both own each other a drink.' He said with a smile that made my face heat up a bit. 'I guess we do.' I answered with a small smile. 'How about you give me your number and we pick a day to meet.' 'That seems like a good idea' I then gave him my number so he could put it in his contacts. When I was about to walk away he suddenly said 'I don't even know your name!' 'It's (Y/N)!' I said with a smile on my face. 'Well, my lady (Y/N) the name's Ethan. Nice to meet you.' He said with also a smile on his face. 'Nice to meet you good sir Ethan. Have a wonderful day!' I said with a small bow down and than walked outside.

And suddenly a day that felt like the worst one ever, now feels like the best day of my life.
