Chapter 4: Not Knowing What Will Happen

We walk in the airplane and all but Finnick are surprised at what we see.

There is canned food, water bottles, clothes for both genders, blankets, and many things we can do if we get bored and weapons in case the zombies find us.

"Finnick did you do this?" Asks a stunned Annie. He nods. He walks to a chair and sits on it. Annie follows and sits next to him. Everyone sits and the space is taken up.

"Great. Looks like I'm standing." I say while shrugging. Peeta gets up and offers me his seat. 

"No, Peeta it's okay." I say.

"Just sit down." He says looking straight at me.

"Ugh! Fine!" I say sitting in his spot. 

"Peeta. Just to point this out, Katniss doesn't like being babied." Says Clove.

"You say babying, I say being nice." He says.

"Yea, a perfect time to be kind when we could die at any moment by flesh eating zombies." I say sarcastically. We hear a pounding sound and Peeta gets up from the floor and looks out the window. 

"They are by the door." He says seriously. We all get something to beat the zombies with if they get in. We get ready for them to get in but they never do. 

"Okay, Its late and I say I will be the first to take watch for the zombies in case they get in." Says Finnick.

"No, I will. I have nothing else to do." Says Gale.

"No! I got it!" Says Finnick.

They start fighting about who will have first watch.

"Shut Up! Why don't you both have first watch?" I snap. Nobody has seen me snap at them before so they all look surprised. I slump back in the chair and sigh.

"Kitty got claws. And okay." Says Finnick.

"Good and stop calling me Kitty." I say

"Okay... Kitty." Finnick says teasing me.

"Finnick!" I snap at him again.

"Okay, Okay, i'll stop." He says. I go to the floor and lay down a blanket and lay down and close my eyes with my bow in my hands and the stealth and my back. Ready to fight.

Bring your worst.

Peeta's POV

Katniss is asleep and she seems really stressed.

"Dude stop spying on her and go to sleep." Cato says.

"To things. One, i'm not spying on her and two, I'm not tired."

"So you say. Whatever have it your way." And with that, Finnick was asleep.

Everyone but me and Gale were asleep.

"You like her don't you, Peeta?" Says Gale. I shrug. 

"I don't want to see her getting hurt." I say. He nods and smiles.

"Good luck with her. She's a fighter. She will keep fighting." He says like he is going to say more but doesn't.

"Your not done. What were you going to say?" I ask.

"She has no one. He mom and dad died in a crash with her little sister. She is the only Everdeen left. She has to live through this." He finishes. Poor Katniss. I look at her sleeping and I instantly feel bad for her. I look back at Gale and he is looking down.

"Don't worry I'll make sure she does." I say. He smiles.
