chapter 9

Time skip 3 months

Alex's POV

Riot is now 5 months pregnant and her tummy has a noticeable bump now, her cravings have been out of control but thats ok "Alex?" She calls and I walk to her "yeah?" I ask and she reaches out to me as tears roll down her face and I bring her into my chest "is the little shit kicking again?" I ask and she nods "it hurts so fuckin bad" she sobs "by the way, we get to find out the gender of the little shit tomorrow" I say and she nods then yelps and I put my hand gently on her stomach and I feel a kick and a hard one at that "c'mon kid settle down, your poor moms in pain right now" I say and riot giggles and the little shit settles down and the door opens "WAZZUP PEOPLE!" Jack screams as he walks in "hey jack" riot says as she wipes her eyes "is the kid kicking again?" He asks and she nods "its settled down after Alex told it to" she says with a giggle

"Speaking of which, wheres ash?" She asks "I'm here" we hear ash say "I need to speak with you upstairs" riot says and she nods, they walk upstairs and I pull jack on the couch "ok, dude I'm just gonna plain out say it, but I wanna propose to riot, but only if your cool with it" I say and he chuckles and pats my shoulder "dude, I've been waiting almost 3 months for you to propose to my sister, she seriously loves you if course I'm cool with it! Ad long as I'm your best man" he says "dude of course your my best man" I say and he grins "when are you gonna propose?" He asks "tonight at the bonfire" I say "thats an awesome idea, I'll film it" he says "thanks dude" I say and we bro hug and the girls walk downstairs "girls, head back up, go get ready for the bonfire" I say and they grin, nod and rum up the stairs

Riots POV

We run back upstairs and i pull out an outfit that won't show my stomach off much and I grab one for ash and I throw it at her and she giggles "so, what are you wearing?" She asks "some ripped leggings, an oversized hoodie and some flats" I say with a shrug "wow this outfits nice" she says "yeah, its one of my favorites" I say and I put the leggings on with a little trouble, then the oversized hoodie and i slip my flats on. I straighten my hair and I apply winged eyeliner, some strawberry lip gloss and I put my white beanie on

"Wow, you look hot" ash says and I laugh "hardly!" I exclaim and she giggles "god I love this outfit" she says as she puts The skirt on "can you straighten my hair?" She asks and I nod, she sits in front of me and I straighten her hair as well as apply winged eyeliner to her eyes and she stands up "how do I look?" She asks

"You look stunning" I say ad I put my glasses on and take my contacts out "c'mon, the guys are outside" she says and I nod, we walk downstairs and outside and we see the bonfire (at the top) "wow" I whisper and I feel arms wrap around my waist from behind and I lean into him "hey" Alex says "hey" I say back as I hum the song December by neck deep "you look gorgeous" he whispers in my ear and I smile "look at ash tho, she looks fuckin amazing" I say "she does, but you look better" he whispers and I smile again "wanna sit down?" He a and I nod "my backs killin me" I groan and he chuckles and we sit on the comfy little couch an I pull my legs up and cuddle into him as he wraps his arms around my waist; everyone sits around us and jack pulls ash into hus lap as the bonfire burns and sends sparks into the night an I smile

"Who wants smores?" Jack calls and we all cheer and Alex gets be a cup of hot coco and I smile "thanks" I say as I take a sip and ash passes me a smore "thanks" I say to her and she smiles "no problem" she says and jack gets his acoustic guitar out "ok guys, we're gonna have a little sing ok? What song do you Want?" He asks "can we have the acoustic for somewhere in Neverland?" I ask and he smiles, nods and starts to play while Alex sings (at the top) and I smile as I hum along to him and everyone smiles; Alex moves his hand to my tummy, I smile warmly as the baby kicks gently and I smile as I continue to eat my smore and when the chorus comes along I start to sing with Alex and he smiles as he sings and as the song finishes everyone claps and cheers and I smile warmly

I look up at Alex and he kisses me lightly and I kiss back, after he pulls away he sends a glance to jack and jack Nods and takes out a camera and starts recording, I look at Alex confused and he takes a deep breath and gets up "riot, I love you so much, over the course of this year and a half has been the best time of my life, I started out as a dick to you and for that I'm so sorry and then getting back with Lisa even after you had stuck up for me was again, a dick move but you forgave me and gave me another chance and for that I'm forever thankful, but riot I love you so so much, and with the baby on the way I couldn't be any happier, so" he starts and gets down on one knee and I cover my mouth as tears fill my eyes "riot barakat? Will you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife?" He asks as tears fill his eyes and tears roll down my face as sobs force themselves out my mouth and I nod

His eyes light up and he takes my shakey hand and puts a gorgeous emerald ring on my finger

And he pulls me into a hug and I sob into his chest "I love you" I sob "i love you to" he whispers and everyone around us cheers  and he cups my cheek and kisses me and I kiss back as I lace our fingers together; he pulls away with a grin "can't wait to meet Mrs. Gaskarth" he says with a grin and I giggle as tears fall down my face "I love you so much" I say and he smiles "I love you so so much to" he says and I smile

I'm now engaged to the man I love and pregnant with his child, I couldn't be happier
