Today Lola was coming to visit me. I was excited because I haven't seen her since last week. She met me at the door and I walked her to the visiting area. We were having a casual conversation then all of a sudden she says
"I saw Blake kissing some dude in the club"
My heart dropped at kissing some dude. Lola kept talking but I wasn't hearing anything she said. I can't wait to talk to her. She's one of thebmain reasons I went to sex rehab. I realized Lola was talking so I conversated with her until it was time to go. She left and immediately I got a phone call.
"Hello"
"Hi Leo"
"Who is this?
"Damn you forgot about me"
"Oh this is Blake. I didn't forget about you it's just you've changed so I didn't recognize you"
"What you mean by that Leo?"
"Naw don't try to play the dumb girl role"
"Okay Leo what happend at the club wasn't my fault. He kissed me and I was trying to pull away but he had a tight grip"
"Yeah whatever"
"Leo don't act like you've never messed up before. You had sex with another female before you went to rehab"
"Yeah I did but at least I told you. I had to hear from my fucking sister that you was making love in the club. Did you think you was Usher or something? I don't have time for this bullshit. Bye!"
Blake
I know I made a mistake but he didn't have to talk to me like that. He was cussing and everything. He never uses profanity around me. I broke down immediately. I really think I lost Leo.
Leo
I had the rest of this week planned out. Tommorow I get released from rehab and I was going to show Blake how much I've improved and show her these STD and HIV test they made me take. I'm clean and I was ready to be her man. But all that has gone down the toilet. But fuck it I'll just get money and be a great brother and son.
Next Day
So I'm released from rehab and I'm going to get a home cooked meal. I go to mama house and the enemy is there. How are you gon kiss another dude in the club but be at my mama house like everything is good. I walked in and talked to my mama like Blake wasn't there.
"Leo you better speak to that girl"
"I don't have to. Do I?"
"Do what the fuck I said"
"Hi Blake" I say not even looking at her
"Hi" she says veru softly
"Leo, I heard what happend between you and Blake" my mama says stirring some mac and cheese
"And?"
"You and your stubborn sister wouldn't listen to her. She explained to me the situation. I believe her and I know she's telling the truth"
"Okay mama" I say wiping off my Oreo 5's
"So I'm going to leave you two down here to talk"
My mama went upstairs and it was a akward silence at first.
"Leo what happend was really a mistake and it won't happen agian. Can you please forgive me?"
"Alright. But if anything else happens like this we done. Real Talk. Talk Real"
I say looking at her
"Okay. So can we move on?"
"Yeah. Mama come on me and my bae is getting hungry"I yell upstairs.
"Leo don't rush me and she's your bae now but less than 30 mins ago you wouldn't talk to her. Y'all two a trip"
We sit down and eat like a family.The main reason I forgave Blake is because of my mama. She would never lie to me and she never likes any of rhe girls I date so this is rare.
This time I'll be a better woman.
