And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest
secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will
never find it.

A new start

I closed my eyes and made a wish. I can obviously not tell you what I wished for, but let's
just say that if you keep reading, I'll tell you. It all started when I was six years old. My father had
just died and I was broken. My mother started drinking and became more and more distant
from the world and sadly. Me too. When I was 12 years old my mother died from alcohol poisoning and I became a part of the foster care system.

My first home was okay I guess. My foster mom and dad was really nice, but they eventually got
a child so I was sent back to the system. My second home was awful. A person there wasn't
the best person in the world to be honest. I don't really want to talk about it. My third home is
where I live now. I live there with my dads. Yes, that's right. My dads Oscar and Andy. Oscar is blond
and very sensitive, and Andy is just like Oscar except that he has black hair and he is dark skinned. But I love them with all my heart.

One day they said the worst thing that could ever happen. They told me that we were moving,
and that's not the worst part. The worst part is that we are moving to the place where I grew
up. I never told them what happened so they didn't know about my past, and I couldn't say
anything because I knew they would freak out and send me back to the system. I couldn't
handle another awful home with people who didn't really care about me. I was finally happy
after 4 years of being so miserable. No, I couldn't tell them I just had to oversee it and just move on.

The days was passing by like lightning and the moving day came closer and closer. I just finished packing and found a
picture of me, my mom and my father. A tear was falling from my chin and I started thinking
about the time when my mother was fine and my father was alive.

"Stop it Raya. Don't cry" I tried to stop but I couldn't. I took a deep breath and I finally calmed down. I folded the picture and put it in my back pocket. And just in time because Oscar came in.
"Everything is packed. It's time to go Raya." He sighed and walked out. I followed him to the
front of the house. All three was standing there. In front of this little blue house with a tree beside it.

"Goodbye house. I'm going to miss you." I walked fast to the car. I couldn't think about everything. It was too overwhelming to think about it. I opened the door to the car and sat down. I looked one last time at the house. I sighed and then I only started looking forward to what would be the best time of my life.

I walked out of the car after six and a half hours with driving and started walking into the house. The house was twice as big and I had to be honest. I really liked the new house despite the fact that I didn't want to live here.

I walked to a door with my name on it. It was my letters on the door with my favourite colours on it. Blue and purple. I walked inside the room and I just stood there silent. The room had stars hanging over my bed. I had a sofa in in the window, and my closet was twice the size from my other closet. I ran out and gave my dads a big hug.

"Thank you so much for my room. It's everything I wanted and more." I was still holding them tight and I would never let go. But I had to because we still had a lot left to move. I took my things and walked to my room. I walked in and I put my bags down. I sat on the bed and
just studied the room. It was so amazing.

I looked out my window and I froze. It's been 4 years but I still remember it like it was yesterday. He walked towards the house with a brown basket.
