eunhee's point of view
hearing a small snicker, i looked up from my phone to see it was from the guy in front of me. as he looked up from his phone himself, our eyes locked, and he gave me a smile and a small wave with his hand. as i felt my cheeks growing red, i quickly turned the other way. what. the. fuck. that is not the boy that i saw on instagram, that boy right there is a goddess. how was he able to change so much over the span of only 2 years?? why do i still look like a potato??? like i always did??? (a/n potatoes r the real mvps out there tho shoutout to y'all potatoes. i luv u.) ok stop freaking out and stop getting red for fucks sake. you can do this. just say hi, take the phone, thank him and then you can leave again. throwing a little fist as a sign of 'fighting' to myself i turned around again, to see the boy curiously looking at me. and i turned around againand the same snicker from before could be heard again. stop being a pussy and just take your phone. you can do this eunhee. with that i turned around, once again, and took small steps towards him.
"hi, i am eunhee, the owner of the phone u found, nice to meet you," i said while giving him a small smile. he replied with another smile.
"hey i'm guanlin, nice to meet u too."
oh wow and of course his voice is hot too.
"so uh do you want to drink something? i can go order-",
"oh i'm sorry i actually need to do something after this, so i just wanted to quickly pick up my phone, sorry." i apologetically looked up to him.
"ah no it's fine i didn't know you were busy, let me take out your phone quick," he said while he scratched the back of his head looking quite embarrassed.
i couldn't help feeling sorry for lying to him, in order to get the fuck outta here before i would die due to the damn hot looks of his, when all he did was trying to be nice but you gotta do what you gotta do bro. i watched him kneeling down, looking through his backpack until he eventually found the phone and got up again.
"well here's your phone. you really should put a code in before someone just randomly goes through your private stuff," he said as he handed me the phone
"wait- not that i did!" he hastily added.
i chuckled a little at his little remark.
"thanks i will! i am glad i didn't though, if not i probably would have never seen it again and i probably wouldn't have seen your face- wait did i just say that out loud"
"yep you just did." now it was his turn to laugh at me becoming a tomato.
"i have a question though,"
i curiously looked up to him after checking my phone
"how did you just text me without a phone?"
"oh"
i smiled as i took out my old samsung phone and showed it to him.
"he may look very damaged- well he is, but it still works somehow."
"ah i see," he said while chuckling a little.
already sensing the awkward silence coming i quickly announced my leave,
"well uhm anyhow thanks again for returning my phone, i really thought it was gone for good!! and sorry that i can't stay for a drink but uh- i still had a nice time? ok no i should stop rambling before i turn this even weirder, so well i guess it's time for me to leave, so uhm bye?"
"oh yea sure, i also enjoyed my five minutes with you," he said amused,
"see you some time?"
"hopefully!" i quickly replied.
and just like that i made my way home to take a nap.
