She stormed out of the house, suitcase at hand, taking one last glance at him. Barging out the door as tears brimmed in her eyes, that was the night she walked out forever.
In a coffee shop not far from her parents house, she sat, confused, only 16 Sophie sighed, letting her coldly glittering eyes gaze around the petite little room filled with different types of people. She tapped distractedly on the table turning her attention to the vibrant vase of flowers in the centre of the table, her head wasn't exactly screwed on at the moment
"Can I help you?" A small voice chirped to the side of her, she looked at Sophie with a big grin and bright eyes etched onto her face, Sophie was hesitant, she had never seen someone smile so big, especially in this lousy town.
She cleared her throat "Can I just get an extra sting black espresso" Sophie stuttered, the small female grinned "Okay!" And she trotted off with a smile
Sophie's P.O.V
I stared.. The flowers arranged beautifully on the tables, tulips, carnations, roses and dasies, I stare past them and notice a girl, with such breathtaking beauty, I had never seen someone that caught my attention as much as she did. Yes, I'm bisexual, no it is not a phase, but what I did know, is that I needed to talk to her.
The waitress came back with a small mug of strong coffee, I coughed and whispered to the waitress
"Do you reckon you could put this carnation with that girl over there's order" I direct the waitress to her table from afar, I was getting ahead of myself. I didn't even know if she liked girls. But god darn it it was worth a shot.
I sat down, pretty confident in my decisions, what the waitress didn't know was that I had slipped my number in the petals of the carnations, hoping she would find it. The waitress gracefully made her way over, with a tray of tea, a cake and the carnation, I saw the girls confused look on her face and laughed, she looked over so I jolted my head downwards.
Her hair was long, brown and gorgeous, her glasses framed her face beautifully, and her smile made my heart melt, sure I'm a confused teen and I'm rushing in but..I could hear my heart whispering she was the one.
That night I got home, threw myself on the couch and sighed, my phone beeped and I jumped ecstatically, it was just my mum
"I'll be back in ten minutes darling xx"
I sighed, my mum, she was wonderful, but used drinking and drugs to escape reality It's upsetting...Because I can see her deteriorating and honestly..
She's a broken masterpiece, just like me.
Things at home weren't great...Dad left when I was three.. I have a little brother, Cody. He was really my only friend from childhood, I was bullied. Mainly for liking girls and not following the trends..
