"I want you to eliminate him," my client said as he handed me drawing of my target, "His name is Fretis Grey, he owns that freak show, he's the host, I want you to kill him. He should be in town with his show tomorrow, at the theater"

I studied the picture, "It'll cost you, 65 krels." I told him. "Hmm, fair price," He said as he reach for his pouch. "Oh, I should probably tell you this, but he has a bunch of lightning elementals that protect him, like about 5." He explained. "It's fine. Can you tell me why you want him dead?" I said. "I have my reasons, so leave it alone before I report you to the guards, Phoenyx." He said my name slowly, proving that he knew that I was fugitive in the whole land of Hecate. I watched his eyes look at my dagger, probably making sure I didn't do anything. I nodded. We both walked away opposite of each other.

I counted the money, it was exactly 65 krels. Killing Fretis would be easy, getting past some lightning buggers would hopefully be easy. I shadow traveled to my room at the inn. I looked in the mirror, my shaggy black hair was starting to get really long, my skin seriously needed a tan, I spend way too long in this hood. I climbed on top of my bed and left my dark clothes on I would sleep and then wake up next morning to go to the theater. I took of my clothes and went to bed.

I woke up to pounding on my room's door. I sighed. I walked up to the door and looked through the peephole, it was the Muclest soldiers, either my client sold me out, which was typical, or someone found out last night.

"Open up!" one of the soldiers yelled, "We know you are in there Phoenyx! You're a wanted fugitive! Hand yourself over! Or else Queen Mesiod will send an army after you!" I smiled at the thought, an army of the Kynngz kingdom against me! A Bi-Elemental, very rare, able to control two different elements at the same time, feared by even the Qaesitors, but yet three soldiers thought that they could arrest me? It was comedy.

I sighed. I changed into the shadow of the third soldier, I was now a shadow, hidden. I changed out of shadow form, and appeared behind them, but none of them noticed.

"The innkeeper gave us permission to knock down this door!" The soldier shouted, still not noticing me. "1...2...3!" The soldier counted down. BOOM! The door went down. They all ran in still not noticing me behind, I leaned against the wall, I wanted to see how long it would take them to find out that I was behind them.

"Hey! He's not in here!" The third guard said. "No! Remember, he's a shadow elemental, he can make himself look invisible, or make him look like a lamp post or something." The second soldier explained.

He was right, we could make ourselves look like a lamp, or a table, or make ourselves invisible, but that took major concentration, and it really drains you. At best I could stay invisible for at least a minute.

The guards started jabbing at the curtains and drawers. I facepalmed. One of the soldiers turn his back on a table then spun around as quickly as he could and tried to struck the table, probably hoping he would surprise me, but instead he tripped on his footing and face planted. I laughed my butt off.

"HA, HA, HA, HA!" I laughed finally giving away my position. I walked under the door way. "Oh man! You guys are too, FUNNY!" I made fun. The soldiers all turned around. The soldier on the ground, got to his feet. "Hey! Look it's the Shadow guy!" The soldier that fell down said really late. "Thanks Captain Obvious!" I remarked. "Charge him!" The first soldier said. The first soldier pointed his spear towards me, he ran at full speed, I stepped out of the doorway right when the spear would've hit me. The soldier didn't realize until his spear got stuck into the wall.

The second soldier came running out of the doorway to join the other soldier, he then tried to charge me since I was in the corner of the hallway, I reacted quickly, and shadow traveled behind him. He charged at the wall and ended up getting his spear stuck as well. "Wait! He can teleport?" The soldier asked. "C'mon guys, I really don't want to kill you! I have..." That's when I remembered I had to kill Fretis Grey. "Oh shoot! See ya later boys!" The soldiers got their spears unstuck and charged at me, but with their brains. All three of them decided to charge at me, but ended up tripping over each other. I laughed once more and than ran down the stairs to do my job.
