" Good morning Commander Khole."
"Morning Sage. I have important news for you. Today you will be reassigned a new assistant."
"What ever happened to Charlie?"
"He got in a fight with a pack of hellhounds. Broke most of the bones I'm in his body. I had to lay him off."
"That's terrible. Who is my new assistant?"
"Meet Axel. Axel this is Sage. You will be working with her as a Reaper."
Sage was it? She is cuter than I thought. Her skin has a silver-ish glow and she stood tall, as if she were in the military. I heard this place was like the military. She wore her silver hair in a bun, with a blue and purple pin in it, and big, blue eyes to match. Her eyes were the type to change in the light, if she shifted to the left they would turn a light purple and turn back as she shifted right. She was stunning.
"'Sup Sage." I waved at her. She stared at me with disgust as I said that. Beautiful or not, I could tell she would get annoying.
"Well you better go get your stuff and settle in then" Khole said, breaking the tension
I brought the only things I own, a change of clothing, a toothbrush, and a pin. Commander Khole told me I could bring one personal item.
I grabbed my duffel bag  and followed her down a long, boring white corridor to the room 258. The apartment is equally as boring. I don't bother to look around, and decided to sleep until we had to start. I float to the top and get comfortable, then I see her staring at me. She says "Let's get one thing straight, I am the superior here, therefore I make the rules here. Got it?"
I rolls my eyes. She is bossy. I don't like it. "Yea right sweetheart. Wake me up when something important happens."
I close my eyes and hear her storm away, clearly upset by her authority being challenged.
I sneak a peak of her organizing some books on the coffee table. She's cute when she's mad.
