Nightmares, those are the worst especially when it includes your loved ones. Nightmares seemed to be longer and more torturous. It also didn't help Clark knowing that you could be kidnapped or worse be killed because of his fault, since he's the man of steel.

You had heard frequent breathing so you woke checking the time, 4:22am.
"Clark?" You called for him, your voice laced with worry
"Y/n" You heard the fear in his voice
"Baby are you fine?"
"No"
Getting up you put on your robe on "Let's talk about it over tea and coffee" You yawned tiredly
"No it's fine, y/n. I didn't mean to wake you, let's talk about it later"
"I'm already awake and I won't be able to sleep until we talk about whatever's bothering you"
He smiled and got up and kissed you. "This time I'll have tea with you" He kisses you again "You're the best y/n" Smiling you hugged him tightly, now heading to the kitchen to talk about the nightmare.
