Shannon's POV
I've been here for three weeks now and I've gotten pretty close with the three guys, really close with Mason. we're not a couple or anything, we just hold hands, few kisses here and there but it doesn't mean anything, well to him it doesn't. His sisters nice but his parents never seem to be home and he never mentions them.
I sigh and shut my locker.
"Boo" He whispers wrapping his arms around my waist.
I smile and turn around in his arms
"Hey"
"Hey to you too" He grins softly drawing circles on my back. "Are you free tonight?"
"yup, why?" I ask curiously.
"Want to go out tonight?"
"As in on a date?" I smile
"Yea" He says.
"oh wait, your sister?"
"Troy and Gem are babysitting, please?"
"Ok" I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him.
"Cool! Pick you up at six" He says after we pull back.
"Ok, Oh um formal or casual?"
"Casual" He says.
"Ok" I say pulling out of his grasp and walking down the hallway with him trailing behind, probably looking at my a*se
"Stop staring" I say laughing and slipping my hand in his.
"I'm allowed" He chuckles, swinging our arms back and forward as we walk towards the school entrance where Troy and Gem were waiting for us.
"Come on girly" Gem says stepping out of Troy's reach and gripping my arm. I let's go of Mason's hand and follow Gem with a confused look on my face.
"Time to get ready for your date" She says when she notices the look on my face "How did you know?"
"Doofus over there never smiles like that, He really likes you" She says as we get to my car.
"You know where my house is, meet me there" She says walking off, leaving me to think about what she said.
I jump into my Honda civic, it ain't much but it's something. I reverse out of the parking lot and put it into gear, driving towards Gem's house.
10 minutes later I'm pulling up at Gem's beautiful house. I step out of my car and take in her house. It is a modern home with a lovely garden, The inside consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a lounge and a dining area and a kitchen big enough to fit 20 people all at once.
She has a big section wth a built in pool in a fenced off area at the back.
I notice Gem pull up and smile. She gets out of her Mazda and motions for me to follow her around the back. I quickly oblige and shuffle round to the back to see her forcing her window open.
"You forgot your key again didn't you!" I tease helping her.
"Shut up!" She moans.
We finally get it open and I push her tiny figure in and she runs around and opens the sliding door.
I quickly walk inside
"Help ya self to anything in the kitchen, I'll be 10 minutes, I need to ring my cousin" She says walking back to her room. I slide into the kitchen and grab out a can of coke, popping it open and skulling it back, propping open the bin with an outstretched foot and dunk it in, doing a victory dance.
"Well hey there" A smooth voice says. I slowly turn around and come face-to-face with Zack, Gem's 12 year old brother who winks at me.
"I'm going over to your girlfriends house, Really think you should be looking at me like that?" I ask as he shamelessly checks me out. He pales and his cheeks tinge pink. Him and Mason's sister have been going out for the past two weeks and we all find it funny to tease them about. "Plus" I carry on "I'm 4 years older, I don't go for younger guys, and you are so not my type!" I hear muffled laughter and look up to see Oliver, Gem's older brother standing there laughing at his little brother.
I roll my eyes and deck it out of there, jogging down to Gem's room. I open up the door quietly to see her sobbing with the phone up to her ear.
I don't say anything and walk over to her bed, sitting next to her and wrapping my arms around her, Pulling her into me as she wails into the phone.
"Why? What is wrong with me?" She pauses for a bit until...."You're f*cking kidding me!" She screams.
I cringe away a bit.
I rub her back soothingly.
"No F*ck you! We're done!" She ends the call and throws her phone across the room. I stay silent and just let her sob in my arms for a bit
"Babe, What's happened?" I finally ask after she's calmed down a bit.
"H-He cheated on me!" She says pulling away and wiping her eyes.
"Naw hun, I'm sorry" I say lamely.
Her phone starts ringing and she freezes so I get up and look at the caller ID. Troy<3xx.
I sigh and answer it.
"Way to go! what do you want ?" I snap.
"Shan?"
"Tell me why?" I ignore him.
"Shan you gotta believe me when I say Tatiana came onto me! I did not kiss her back! I love Gem! Always will! I will never cheat on her!"
"I'll put it on speaker" I say.
I put it on loud speaker. "Go"
"Baby, you gotta believe me when I say Tatiana came onto me! I did not kiss her back! I love you Gem! Always will! I will never cheat on you! Never in my life, would I even think of cheating on you, you're amazing and I would hate myself if I lose you because of the school sl*t" He states "I love you baby, please forgive me"
Gemma sighs and mutters "I love you too jerk"
I smile "Say that louder Gem"
"I love you too jerk" She says a bit louder
I can almost see him smiling at that comment "I deserve that, I'll see you in three hours?"
"Yea" Gemma says, wiping tears out of her eyes.
"We got to go" I say hanging up on him and dragging her through the house and out to her awaiting car. "Yours, Troy will bring me home" She says shrugging.
I wiggle my eyebrows and she shakes her head hopping into the passenger seat. I jump in and start my car, we drive towards my house in comfortable silence.
