2 - Midnight Memories

[15 years ago...]

"Jihyun... what if I were to disappear?"

"No... don't say that, please..."

It was already midnight, maybe even past. She and Jihyun were laying down on the thick blanket that she laid hours ago for that night.

She brought him to a steady clifftop to stare out at the midnight sky that was all freckled with stars.

"You won't disappear... I will make sure of that." Jihyun whispered as he looked at her warmly. They now faced each other, comfortable in their positions.

There was that icy silence that reverberated in the air around them for a while, before she finally spoke.

"... Thank you, Jihyun." She softly said, leaning in to gently kiss his forehead. He ended up looking like a tomato as she genuinely smiled.

"Thank you so much for everything."
