3. SOMETHING SPECIAL ON YOUR LAST DAY
Hyunjin came in early to Ukiss’ dorm again the next morning. She told herself that she will be working extra hard since it was her last day.
As usual, Hoon was the first to wake up. He volunteered to help her in cleaning that Hyunjin appreciated a lot. Because of his help, she was able to finish everything earlier than usual.
“Thanks.” She said to Hoon who is now sitting on the living room couch.
“You’re welcome.” Hoon smiled at her. “Are you already done?”
“Ah, yes. I better wake the others up.”
“No, it’s alright. It’s still early.”
“Okay…”
Hyunjin sat down beside Hoon and they started to chat. After a while, they started joking about.
“Ahaha, Hoon-ssi, you’re so cute!” Hyunjin exclaimed
Soohyun came out of his room and noticed the two having fun in the living room.
“Hyung, you’re early.” Hoon said
“I just heard some noises… so it was you two.”
“Are we too loud? Sorry.” Hyunjin apologized
“No, it’s fine… Are you feeling better now?” he asked still yawning.
“I-I’m good, thanks.” Hyunjin answered
“Hmm, okay.” Soohyun said and went to freshen himself up. He told Hoon he will go out for a while and left.
The other members of Ukiss woke up and started eating breakfast. They asked Hyunjin to join them and so she did.
“Hoonie, where is Soohyun-hyung?” Kiseop asked
“He went out for a while” he said simply
Soohyun came back after a while and went straight to bath after greeting everyone.
“What is Hoon doing, talking to Hyunjin all alone this morning?” Eli whispered to AJ who is beside him.
“Dunno” AJ shrugged
As Soohyun came out and joined them at the table, Eli elbowed AJ to remind him of their plan.
“Hyunjin-ssi,” AJ said. Hyunjin looked at him and he continued, “Do you have anything to do today?”
“Uhm, nothing in particular. Why? Do you need anything?” she said
“No, we just thought, maybe… you could join us today. You know, just to hang out.”
Hyunjin looked shocked for a moment, not knowing what to say.
“Yah, Hyunjin-ssi could have something important to do today!” Soohyun protested
“Hyung, she just said that she doesn’t.” Dongho said
“Hm, did she?” Soohyun mumbled, scratching his head
“B-but, you must be busy today. I would just get in your way.” Hyunjin said, worried about having to go with them to work.
“Come with us, it’ll be fun!” Hoon said
Everyone looked at Hoon who seemed to be noticeably cheerful today, but he did not notice everyone looking at him as he kept his attention to Hyunjin.
“Please…” he pleaded with his puppy eyes that Hyunjin just cannot ignore.
“I-if it’s alright with everyone…” Hyunjin said
