My Hero

Undyne was wandering Waterfall, her armor not on her at the moment, this was because Undyne was heading out for a calm walk. She wanted to calm down from stuff happening lately, she wanted to train but she felt as though she would strain herself if she kept going with no rest, that's why the fish monster was out, wandering and chilling. Soon the female had come to the boardwalk and walked along it for a while before choosing a nice spot and sitting, this walk calm, until she heard a voice in the distance that seemed to come closer to her location. When she looked, her eyes had locked onto a short, yellow, and cherry monster that was running and shouting her name, "Undyne! Undyne!", he yelled till he got close enough, Monster Kid was almost there, but suddenly tripped and face planted into the wood of the boardwalk, causing the fish-monster to flinch, somewhat worried for the poor kid. Once Undyne eased herself Monster Kid got up only to walk over and sit next to the lady he called 'Awesome', his signature bright smile adorning the monster's face as they looked at each other. "Well hello, Punk. Whatcha up to?", she asked with her usual rebel and awesome attitude, and though it was expressed, Monster Kid was 'Fangirling' on the inside, or would it be 'Fanboying'? Either one, he was freaking out that he was actually talking to her, but responded as calmly as he could, "Well Undyne, I came to see you actually! I'm a huge fan, I always have been, you're just so awesome!", Monster Kid said with excitement, truly expressing how he felt towards his hero. Undyne blushed faintly from his compliments, smiling softly at the fact that he saw her this way, but then her wide smiled appeared as she hugged him close, "Ah c'mon punk, you're awesome too! You don't need to just say I'm awesome!", she said with encouragement, knowing that he was happy with her statement, proven well with the sparkle in his eyes at how she was being.

Undyne got up, Monster Kid doing the same since this seemed like he had nothing else to do, "So kid, would you like to see something awesome?", Undyne asked, wondering if she could please one of her biggest fans with and amazing thing that she could do. Monster Kid immediately nodded with excitement, done followed Undyne as she walked, their steps continuing for a ways before she got to a large rock, "Okay, so there's this trick I want to do, but first you need to sit on that rock.", she directed him, so he climbed up to the best of his abilities won only his short stubby legs, landing on top with a smile, "Alright Undyne! I did it!", he said with joy, to which Undyne respond, "Good job! Now just let me....", she trailed off as she lifted the heavy rock onto her shoulders, making Monster kid wobble a bit but he did stay on. Monster kid sat down, only to feel like he was thrown up in the air, in truth, he was, Undyne had thrown the rock up and Monster Kid became a little scared, but as the rock got to its highest point, it had broken to pieces, this was due to Undyne making a spear appear and throwing it through the rock to make it shatter, when Monster Kid came down Undyne had caught him. With surprise, Monster Kid shouted, "Oh my gosh! That was so cool! That is so awesome, a-and amazing! How do you do it?", he asked, his excitement pushing through it calm demeanor, breaking his hope to not freak out in front of the monster that he wanted to be just like. This made Undyne place her hands on her hips with pride, "Lots of practice, punk. If you believe, you can achieve, and for you," she paused and leaned down, poking his chest gently then continued, "I know you can achieve anything, just believe in yourself, have hope.", she said with an encouraging smile.

After a while of Undyne practicing tricks with Monster Kid, he had gotten to go to her house, which was a huge honor and delight for him, the place was more than he imagined, a perfect place for his hero to live. When everything had been set up, Undyne had told Monster Kid to sit at the table while she prepared some food for them both, Undyne was very happy with the company so she continued to smile as he worked. Once done she set a plate in front of Monster Kid, which he leaned his head down to the plate of pasta and began slurping up some noodles, so Undyne chuckled and began to quickly eat, getting done within minutes. The fish-monster had gotten up and threw her plate into the sink then looked to Monster Kid while he still ate, "Y'know punk, what if you did a bit training with me to become awesomer!", this made the Monster Kid perk up and nod delightedly, "I don't think awesomer is a word, but it is now! I'd love to!", he shouted happily. Undyne came over and grabbed his plate, setting it in the sink then helping him clean up his face, "I can't wait to start training with you, punk.", she smirked slightly but with excitement, and Monster Kid was overjoyed to be training with the monster he basically worshipped.

It soon came time for the younger monster to head home, so he said his goodbyes and walked out the door, Undyne smiled and went off to her room to get a good night's rest, they would start training tomorrow after all. As monster Kid walked towards his home, he brightly smiled at the thought of training with Undyne, the captain of the royal guard. He chuckled to himself, "She's my hero, she always has been, and always will be..."
