Hermione is now 2 months pregnant.
Ron came home every night the same. He would always go to the pub then come home.
One night was different from the others, it was worse. He came home even more drunk than usual and started punching and kicking Hermione until she was on the floor covered in blood. After Ron had done that to her he went back out to the pub again.
Hermione painfully stood up and checked if the baby was alright with her wand. She sighed in relief when it showed that the baby was fine. She went to the bathroom, showered and cleaned her cuts.
Hermione packed up all of her things into a chest, she then used a shrinking charm on it and put it in her bag. She left to go to Diagon Alley straight away.

Hermione ended up getting a room in The Leaky Cauldron. This was the place that she thought would be most safe.
