"Pitter Patter," says the rain

Here I am staring at my feet again

Mixed emotions filling cells' depths of despair

Trying to sway my conscience that acts like a barrier

Nuances of each drop were easily understood by me

How come was that? Only I knows the trick so costly

If it wasn't because of what this life of mine can offer,

I could be living a life full of mediocre

Rolls of cloudburst nauseating every pinch of my awareness

Bellowing voices echoing eardrum by eardrum

Flashing images being played again and again. oh Mum!

Try to resist and be slapped on the bum!

"Pitter Patter", says the rain

Here I am resting my head on the window pane

Now the sky is overlayed with thick of clouds and the sun giving out

like that of a grin

Now here I am, tucking my self to sleep, as I dream of a new tomorrow

once again
