Krie stood in line at McDonald's staring up at the menu. She was running a little late for work so she had decided to just stop at McDonald's for breakfast since it was across the street from forever 21.

Finally, she was up at the counter and she had decided what she wanted to eat.

"Hey, what can I get you this morning?" Krie looked over the girl standing behind the register. She stood in her uniform and fiery red hair that went well with her hazel eyes. Krie noticed the brown freckles on her tan skin which she found was adorable.

"Miss?" She said from behind the counter. Krie snapped out of the trance she was in, remembering she was gonna be late if she procrastinated any longer.

"Um...sorry," Krie laughed nervously. "You're just really beautiful."

The girl smiled, revealing her cyan colored braces. "Thank you."

"Your welcome" Krie smiled back before looking down at her watch. She continued on, ordering her food. Once she paid and got her food, she was out the door and on her way to work.

2 months later

Krie continued to hang up the clothes on the rack as costumers came in and out the store. She couldn't wait to get off work. She just wanted to kick back and relax while watching orange is the new black on Netflix.

Once she finished hanging the clothes that needed to be hung, she made her way to the back of the store, and began unpacking another box. After about 20 minutes she was done with that and Krie went back to the front, seeing her coworker Aja was helping a costumer.

"Excuse me," Krie turned around seeing a brown skin girl. She smiled politely, showing her dimples.

"Yeah? Are you finding everything okay?" Krie spoke politely.

"I am, thank you. But I have a friend, she's too shy to approach you so I thought I'd come over for her. Can she have your number?" The brown skin girl asked. Krie looked over her shoulder, seeing the red head girl from a few months ago. Krie tried to fight the smile that was threatening to show.

"Sure" Krie gestured for the brown skin girl to follow her to the counter where she got a piece of paper and a pen. "What's your friends name?" Krie asked while writing her number down on the paper.

"Her name is Ajadi." Krie handed the paper to Ajadi's friend.

"Well I'm Krie and tell her to text me, maybe we can get together sometime." The brown skin girl nodded before saying goodbye. Krie waved goodbye, watching her walk over to Ajadi and they both left out.

Krie smiled to herself before turning around and seeing Aja staring at her.

"Girl you okay?" Aja raised an eyebrow. Krie nodded before walking to the back so she could hurry and get this day over with.
