Chapter 3

Briyanna POV

Me-Ummmm

UM-Ummmm what?

Me-I got into a fight.

I looked down and started crying cuz I know I'm bout to get my ass beat.

UM-Go close that door.

I walked over to the door, contemplating on whether I should run or close it like he said. I decided to not make things worse on myself and I just closed it and slowly turned back around. He was standing there with his belt in his hand. I just started crying harder.

UM-Why was u fighting?

Me-Because she was talking stuff to me. Telling me to stay away from Cam and stuff and then I kept telling her I'm his sister and then it was another girl who told her the same thing. And then she just punched me in the mouth. After that I kicked her in the leg, making her fall. Then I got on top of her and started beating her up and kicking her and I kicked her one last time then came here to your room.

He put his belt back on.

UM-I'm not gon whoop yo ass but I can guarantee u that yo dad will.

Me-Yes sir.

UM-Lets go to the principals office so that they can have the parent meeting that they always do when a fight happen.

Me-Ok

We left his classroom and walked to the office. By the time we made it there my dad was in there. And he looked pissed. I stayed close to my uncle so that he couldn't reach me. No use. He grabbed my arm and pulled me back by him. He bent down and looked me dead in the eyes.

Dad-I'm beating yo ass when we get home. Do u understand?

Me-Yes sir.

By now I was crying cause I'm scared. I know what happened this morning and that was just cause I wouldn't get up. Now that I got into a fight and I'm probably going to get suspended from school, its bout to be 10 times worse.

We walked in the principals office and I saw the girl who I beat up and her parents. They just shook they head when they saw me. I mean their daughter who's in eighth grade just got beat up by a second grader.

Principal-Ok Mr. King, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, we're here because your daughters had a fight today during lunch. Camiya, why don't u tell us your side of the story.

Camiya-Well she just started with me for no reason. She came up to our table at lunch and she started arguing with me. Then she punched me and we started fighting.

Me-Y u lying? U know that the whole reason we started fighting was because u told me to stay away from my brother because he's your boyfriend and I told u to stop being so insecure because ur intimidated by a nine year old. Another girl told u the exact same thing then u punched nr in my mouth. So I kicked u, knocked u down to my height, then I got on top of u and started beating u up. Just tell the truth.

Principal-Well since they both have two different stories, we'll need to go ask witnesses and see what really happened. Just wait a minute and I'll be right back.

Ten long minutes later...

Principal-Well Briyanna was telling the truth. Camiya did initiate the fight. Since Camiya started it, she's suspended for two weeks and Briyanna you are suspended for a week.

Me-Yes sir

We stood up and walked out of the office. My dad was still pissed at me. As soon as we got home, he sent me to my room. About 20 minutes of just sitting there waiting for him, he came in my room.

Dad-Stand up and pull ya pants down.

I did what he said and WS soon as I did he started hitting me with his belt. He went for like five minutes. Then he stopped and told me to go get myself together because we have to go somewhere.

I wonder where we're going.
