I keep coming back to you
When I lose everything.
Like how a lost person
Continues to travel back down the same road,
Not knowing where else to go.
I don't know where else to turn to;
Where else to go.
I want to move on,
I fight to move on,
But when I do
I find myself thinking back on you.
I fight to forget you,
But I fail every time.
You keep coming back
Like how puppy continues to retrieve the ball,
Never seeming to let it go
Without a chase.
I want to come back to you,
To agree to your terms.
One last time, but I cannot do that to you.
You deserve better than that.
Than someone who I use to fall back on
When my love life fails.
I'm sorry.
I wish I could.
I want to,
Desperately.
I want to fulfill your final wish,
Before you fade away.
If things fail now,
Will I call back to you?
For one final night?
Will you fill used?
I am messing with your emotions,
Just as much as you are messing with mine.
I can't think straight.
But will me crawling back harm you?
After so many times,
Will you think differently of me?
I miss you.
Desperately.
