Dr. Henry Stallion Miles was working with his computer. He was messing around with code, relentlessly, all in an effort to create something that could learn, could think. He had the equipment he needed, even a machine that could create any sound that a human could. But every time he got anywhere even remotely remarkable, he would lose his train of thought. It was late at night, and Henry was tired, frustrated, and wanted to go to bed. I must not, he thought to himself. There is still work to be done. All I need, is time. Time. Time! A sense of time!
