i. Elizabeth ❝Betty❞ Ross was born on December 13th, 1994 to General Thaddeus Ross and Karen Lee Ross.
ii. Betty received her Harpy powers at age 13 after coming with her father to work at one of the military bases. He left her in his office while he had business meetings. So, she went exploring. She found where they were doing experiments, and walked in, unknowing of the dangers. The scientists had been experimenting on animals, such as bugs and birds with gamma energy and had all been wearing haz-mat suits. Betty, of course, had not been wearing one when they had been doing an experiment on a bird. Her cells were then genetically mutated with gamma energy, giving her the abilities of a bird. As anger boiled up inside her, she attacked everyone in the military base, including her own father. This attack only grew and grew until she was known asthe supervillain, HARPY.
iii. Over the course of the year, Betty's Harpy powers seemed to be 'disappearing' until when they finally were gone when she turned 14. It wasn't until she turned 16 that she realized that the gamma energy mutated cells had actually just hidden through out her body, maturing and growing stronger each day. When she turned 16, her newly matured powers turned her into RED SHE-HULK.
iv. With the pain of Karen's death which was soon after Betty was born, Betty's new 'freakish' powers, and the pressure of the new experiments in the military bases, Thaddeus sent Betty away to boarding school, never bonding with his only child.
v. As Harpy, Betty's skin and hair both turned green, and she grew wings from out her back and talons on her hands and feet.
vi. As Red She-Hulk though, she has red skin and black hair. She has super strength, enhanced durability, and almost indestructible skin. She is also handy with some sais, thanks to her friend Elektra. (dualsai )
vii. Betty LOVES to read and write. She enjoys both so much, that she wants to either be a librarian or an author after college.
viii. Betts is getting her major in creative writing and her minor in cell biology. She wants to write, but is also at least trying to figure out something about her gamma mutated cells.
ix. Betty is very genuinely sweet. She'll bake you cookies, buy you your favorite drink and snacks, and will have a full on movie marathon with you if your just feeling the slightest bit down. Need a study buddy? She's there in a minute with flash cards and coffee. Need someone to talk to about life? She's there. Need someone to help you hide a body? She's already got a body bag and the getaway car.
x. But, if you take her kindness for granted, she is not afraid to hit you. Boy, girl, anyone really, she will beat the living shit out of you. And if you hurt her friends or family... Run.
