Remus and Bexley were finally on good terms after the night in the common room, but not everything was back to normal. The two seemed to be walking on thin ice in the beginning, trying not to upset the other. Bexley had ceased her mission to befriend Regulus. The group had been waiting for everything to get the two back to the way things had been, it was a tiring quest. The two were back to friendly banter, and awkward glances when the other wasn't looking.

Bexley stared at her soup in her bowl as everyone around her talked about the Hogsmeade trip. It was this weekend and it seemed as if everyone had a date, or at least a friend to go with. Bexley planned to stay back and catch up on some homework she had missed due to the prior full moon. Little did she know that Remus was planning to do the same.

"So Bexley, where are you planning on going first?" Lily asked her friend. Lily was planning to go with Alice, a girl in their year.

Bexley looked up from her soup and to the girl who sat next to her. "I was going to do some homework in the common room," Bexley responded, watching her friend's green eyes grow in horror.

James laughed, "Remus was going to do the same thing!"

Remus and Bexley sent each other a look. "Oh," Bexley squeaked, her cheeks turning a red shade similar to Remus'.

Belle couldn't help but chuckle at the two, watching them stare at each other awkwardly. Belle and Sirius looked at each other in a knowing manner and laughed. Bexley frowned at the two, and thanked the heavens when Frank sat down, starting a new conversation.

Bexley soon finished her dinner and made her way up to the common room for the night. She sat in front of the fire, watching the flames dance. Bexley heard the common room door open and close but paid no attention.

Suddenly, a tall figure was standing in front of her. Bexley smiled up at Remus, cocking her head to the side. Remus smiled back at his friend and sighed. "Bex, can I ask you something?" Remus questioned the girl that sat in front of him.

Bexley nodded, scooting over, and patting the spot on the couch next to her, just like she did three months ago. "Ask away, Rem," Bexley encouraged.

Bexley turned towards Remus, pulling her knees up to her chest. "I was wondering about the Hogsmeade trip."

"I'm glad we are staying behind to catch up on our work."

"Maybe we can catch up on Sunday?" Remus scratched the back of his neck, his gaze casting towards his hands that were placed in his lap.

Bexley giggled. "I mean, I guess. What are you getting at?"

Remus quickly looked at Bexley and then back at his hands. "We could go to Hogsmeade. Together."

Bexley sighed and thought it over. Remus' cheeks turned a bright red as he awaited her answer. "Yeah sure, I mean it would be a good way to rekindle our friendship." Remus bit his lip to prevent himself from letting out a frustrated groan.

Remus mustered up all the courage he could and looked at the brunette that was next to him. Bexley hummed to herself as she continued to watch the flames in the fire before Remus said anything. "Bex, I don't mean as friends."

Bexley whipped her head around to look at Remus, her mouth forming an 'O' shape. Bexley started blushing as Remus' intense gaze stayed on her. "Oh, yeah. I would- yeah. I would like that," Bexley mumbled.

Remus smiled and he pulled Bexley into a bone crushing hug. "Oh, thank Merlin. I thought you would say no, I thought I was going to drop dead on the stop. Oh, wow. This is amazing, this is like – wow," Remus rambled into Bexley's hair.
