"Why are we so bad at life?", I gasped out as my brother and I ran through the doors of the new school my friends and I would be attending.

"I don't know, but -fuck- we should know. ", Megan said as she plopped down to the floor after us.

We gasping for air as my brother checked the time. He groaned in irritation and sent a small glare towards my rainbow-haired friend.

"Megan, do you know when school starts?", my brother asked her.

"8:00, why do you ask?", she asked between breaths.

"In fucking high-school, ", my brother started.

"Class doesn't start 'til 8:30. It's only 8:13, so that means you brought my sister and me to school early when we could have been enjoying our breakfast!", he finished with a hiss.

Megan and I stay silent before she started to smack he head against the floor.

"Fuck my life. Fuck my life. Fuck my life. ", Megan droned on as I watched her with annoyance and laughter.

Despite me wanting to enjoy the food I made, I thought this was funny.

"Wait. ", I said out loud as I sat up quickly.

"I never put the food away because we rushed out the house. That means while we're at school it made go bad. If I don't run home and cover it, it's gonna go bad and cold. That means bad food and no one like bad food. "

I glared at Megan, "Woman! What have you done?!?!"

"Wha?", she responded back. Megan looked slightly dizzy from smacking herself.

"I don't have time to go back and put the food away properly! You just made me waste the breakfast I slaved away to make!"

Megan said nothing and fell to her knees.

"WHY CRUEL WORLD?!?!", she shouted before falling to the floor with tears in her eyes.

"Y'all are fucking stupid. ", Justin said as he watched us interact with each other.

"SHUT UP! You aren't even paying attention!", I shrieked at him. "You do realize that if I don't put away the food, that means no breakfast for dinner, you idiot!"

My brother looked at me with wide eyes before he stood, "Can't you put it away now?!?!"

I shook my head, "If I do, I won't make it back to school on time. There's no way to secure the food, Justin. I'm sorry. "

Justin turned his gaze towards my rainbow-haired friend and began to crack his neck.

"Megan?", I called out to her.

She turned and faced towards me, still crying slightly. She hadn't even noticed my brother glaring at her from beside me.

"What? Are you gonna say something else to onto to my misery?", she cried out.

"No. ", I stated blankly. "Just warning you to run from my brother because he's gonna kill you for ruining Breakfast-for-Dinner. "
