Dear Mom and Dad,
I saw you.
It was a mirror in the middle of an empty room, and I didn't know what it said around it, but when I looked right at it.
I saw the both of you.
Dad looked like he'd been through hell and back, but seemed happy.
Mom looked really young, and her hair was a bubble pink that reminded me of that photo that Harry had shown me and seemed happy as well.
Both of you did, and we stared at each other and I wanted to reach out for you and pull you to where I was but I had to remind myself that I was just facing a mirror.
But I placed my hand against the glass, trying to imagine how it would be to actually feel to be held by either of you again.
I was so happy I saw you again, that I had to show Victorie who my parents were, and that I really did look like dad, but when she stared into the mirror, she told me she saw her dad without any scars on his face or his body, and the entire family together.
If you only you could see how disappointing I was that no one was able to see anything else but you two.
Maybe it is all I really do desire.
Love, Teddy Lupin.
