The thunder continued to rumble along with the furious lightning bolts that almost ripped the sky. The rain clouds poured its voluminous tears onto the cold and hard ground. Dark and huge clouds blocked the path of the moonlight. Beneath it is a big condominium, where the popular high school girl lived with her family.

"Lily! Come down and eat!" Mrs. Viveca shouted to her daughter, Lily. Mrs. Viveca heard loud noises coming from the staircase. It was Lily's doings. She smiled at her as she moved her right eyebrow upward. "Lily, is it that book again? You live an excellent life. Well, almost. You're somewhat geeky." Her mother told Lily with a very sarcastic tone. "Mom, if you are not yet informed, I am one of the most popular girls in our school. So please, don't make me laugh." Lily taught her mother. "Fine." Mrs. Viveca surrendered to her daughter.

"Ugh, mom? Why are there four plates of cake. You know I appreciate your homemade cakes, but I can't eat two plates. It's too many for me." Lily crossed her arms on her chest, when she saw the plates on the dining table. "And who told you that extra plate is yours? It's for our new neighbor. He lives next to us. We must give this to him to show our appreciation that he came in this condominium." Viveca told her daughter. "And please call Martin. He's taking so much time in playing those video games in his room." Viveca told her. "Who told you I was playing video games? I was doing my assignments. I changed." Martin told her mother.

"Since your brother came down without calls, then you can come with me to introduce and welcome our new guest." Viveca pulled her daughter as she carried the plate. They went outside and coincidentally, they met the new guy on time. "Hello, sir. Welcome to this condominium. We would like to meet you." Viveca told the guy, who was in thick, black jacket. Both of them bowed at each other at the same time. The guy's eyes turned to Lily. His mesmerizing eyes was instantly stuck into Lily's mind. "How old are you?" Lily asked out of the blue. The man coughed after her question, and he looked back at her with a smile.

"Why  did you asked? For formal meeting, come inside." The man invited them inside. He typed the code to open his unit and entered it. He opened the light and hanged his furry jacket on the hanger. He was wearing a black sweater and a black pants. He also wore his brown gloves off and sat on his sofa. "Sit." He requested the two women as he patted on the sofa nearby. "So, haven't you meet me already? I was already here for a month." He informed his neighbors. "Huh? I've never seen you my whole life. Are you sure you were here already for a month?" Lily asked informally. "That's awkward. Ugh… Yes, actually. Moving on, my name is Michael. You're Lily, right? And you're Mrs. Viveca." He told them as he pointed the two accurately. "Woah! You're good at this." Viveca told him with an amazed tone. "Not actually. You, Mrs. Viveca, I know you because your name tag is still hanging on your shirt. I think you're a waitress from a restaurant. You're still wearing their uniform." He told Mrs. Viveca.

"That's disappointing." Viveca whispered to her daughter with an upset face. "I'm really not good at memorizing names, but I know you, Lily. You're the student of my co-teacher. There are rumors that you are one of the most misbehaving, yet popular students in her class." Michael smirked at her. "He's getting on my nerves, mom. Please stop me. I don't want to unleash my rage in here." Lily whispered to her mother. "Oh! I guess we need to bid our goodbyes. Time's running out. We're just here for our greetings, but according to my insights, we should leave now. So take this cake. Please return the plate and wash it, too. Thank you!" Lily bid goodbye as she and her mother were about to left. "I am very sorry to tell you, I'm not in favor with eating sweets. I'm on my diet." Michael told the two. "Well, keep it if you like. You know, remembrance. And Lily was kidding a while ago. You can take the cake and the plate." Viveca told him with a disturbed tone. "Fine by me, Mrs. Viveca." Michael told them.
