Lutteo
/One where Matteo's mom hates Luna, so she runs away from their dinner party/

Luna's POV
This must be every girlfriends nightmare. Getting ready was a struggle and now her car decided to not start. Great, just great. She is going to be late, that thought just made her want to turn back, but she didn't have another option, they would hate her more. She just wanted to be prepared in case they really do hate her, although Matteo assured that his parents were the nicest ones on the planet. Well, if spoiling, ripping away from friends and pressuring education is nice then yeah, they are nice. As she pulled up in their driveway, she could already see Matteo's there. She got out with a strange feeling like she knew something is gonna go wrong.

Narrator's POV
Matteo opened the door with a huge smile on his face and planted a kiss on her cheeck. She was about to apologize when she saw his parents. A middle aged man in a suit and a woman the same age as him with a quite frowned face expression.

"Hello...I mean good evening I uhh I'm sorry that I'm late." Luna mumbled scared to look in their eyes.

"Ahh you must be Luna." Said Mrs Balsano with a sarcastic tone. "Dinner is already on the table you can take a seat."

Luna's POV
Oh great, she hates me, she 99% hates me. Now I have to pretend that I am a classy lady or she will get pissed at me. The food looked great, but I doubt, that she made it herself. They are rich they must have a cook or something. I tasted some of the salad that obviously wasn't as good as my mom's, when I felt that a chunk was stuck in my throat. I started coughing like crazy until I got it out.

"Sorry. Just salad." I looked to Matteo's mom who was looking at me with the - Oh good she is so embarrassing look.

After we finished eating I had to offer help washing the dishes, but Mrs Balsano didn't seem so thrilled. "Oh no Luna, we wouldn't want to break some plates, I can do it on my own.

Like that wasn't a clear sign that she cares more about her plates than her son's girlfriend. Just saying. After that great rejection I had no other choice that to join Matteo and his dad who were whatching some football game. Fun right? Kill me pls. But of course as I got to my boyfrien his mum had to call him into the kitchen, thank God his dad didn't stay couse I can guarantee he would start to talk about my education. I thought about sitting down, but I remembered that I woul smudge it with my averageness, so I shoud just walk around the house. When I walked past the kitchen I heard something I assume I wasn't supposed to hear.

"She is just so clumsy and that attitude is just ughh."

"But she is my girlfriend, I like her the way she is." Matteo was trying to save the situation.

"But she has so many imperfections like her sense of style and..."

I didn't want to hear it anymore I had to get out of there...
I quickly ran out of the house and into my car. Please, please don't let me down this time. For my luck it started on the first time and I drowe away.

Matteo's POV
I just stood there and listened to my mom how she said more and more absurd things about Luna.

"Mom just stop!" I yelled at her.

She just stood there blankly.

"I don't want to hear anything bab about Luna ever again, and if you don't apologize about your rude bahavior we are going to leave."

I made my way to the living room, but she was gone. I looked out the window and her car was missing.

"Great just great look what you have done, she probably heard you!" I yelled as I stormed outside to look for her.

Luna's POV
I sat in my usual spot near the sea. I couldn't belive what happened tonight. Of course I was too distracted to bring a jacked so now I had to wrap my hands around me to keep me warm. I sat there shivering when I felt a jacket on my shoulders. Matteo, of course, he would know that I am here.

"I am sorry about tonight it wasn't supposed to go like that." He said with a sad voice.

"It's okay I didn't had high hopes about this, our families are so different. I'm scared to even imagine my mom getting along with yours." I said with a small laugh.

"She isn't like this all the time, I think she was just in a bad mood and had to get the steam off."

"Hahah and insulting me helped her?"

"I'm sure she didn't mean it like that." He said with a convincing smile.

I leanded into him and hugged his waist as he kissed my forehead. Our comforting silence was interrupted by a phone call. Matteo pulled out his phone and oh what a surprise it was his mom.

"What do you want?" He said in an angry voice. His mom said something and he put the phone on speaker.

"Luna can you hear me?" Said Matteo's mom.

"Uhh yes."

"I am really sorry about what I said earlier, I hope you can forgive me."

"I guess I can try." I said unsure.

"I will let you wash all the plates you want." She said as we started to laugh.

Matteo ended the call and we headed back for a round two.

I was sure that I had to write a Lutteo one or else my writer career will fail. No hate towards Lutteo, but Gastina is my favourite. Not sure what to write next, but I am thankful to those 22 people who have read this story.💙
