Korean Language curriculum now available in Public Schools in the Philippines
On June 21, the Department of Education in the Philippines can be able to teach Korean Language in public schools in the country.
Korean Ambassador Kim Jae Shin and First Secretary Lee Jin Cheol from The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement that will enable the department to teach Hangeul in public high schools through the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) together with the Department of Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones and Undersecretary Dina Ocampo.
With these note, students from Grade 7 to 12 can experience and learn Korean Language through their respective schools.
