Groom Issue

The Mission

This is the part when Lucy and Gray got their mission. I'm sorry if it's late. Hope you like it. :))

Lucy's POV

I was sleeping peacefully on my bed when suddenly someone's knocking my door. And a kind of knock that can destroy my door.

"Hey! Can you wait! Are you really gonna destroy my door?!" I shouted while unlucking the door.

I was ready to strangle the person behind the door but in a blink of an eye, two strong arms wrapped me for a hug and gave me a sweet kiss.

"Good morning honey! Sorry for waking you up. I'm just excited for today." Oh, the crazy fellow who was banging my door a while ago is just Gray.

"Well, I can see that." I said then kissed him on his lips. But I planned to give him a peck but Gray deepen it. I let him. A moment later, I pulled away.

"We're going to a mission, remember?" I said and pinched his cheeks.

"We can do that tomorrow and do something else now." He said huskily and hugged me tighter. I slapped his chest ang laughed.

"Che! I'll get ready now." I pulled away and went to the bathroom.

Gray and I were dating 2 years now. But the guild doesn't know. Well, I don't know why but we just feel like it. And we are enjoying the so called secret relationship that we have.

I'm finished getting ready and I caught Gray reading my diary. How did he found it? Unbelievable.

"Gray... "

"I reeeaaallyyyy love you too, honey." Gray said, mocking my line in my diary.

"Let's go, Beary." Calling him by his nickname, made by me, I grabbed my diary from him, threw it somewhere, pulled his hand and went outside.

We went to the house of the sender of the mission. The mission is to bring back the ring that belongs to his wife. They don't know how the thief got the ring. But they know where to find him.

The thief lives in the woods near the house of the sender. So here we are, walking deep into the woods. Fortunately, it's still sunny and we can see where we are. But the luck is gone in a snap. A snap of a stick, I tripped and fell. And I think I twisted my ankle.

"Ouch!"

"Lucy! Are you ok?" Gray quickly went to my side and picked me up. He puts me down on a log and examine my foot.

My foot is turning red and slightly purple. Great, I sprained my foot when doing a mission. Gray pressed it.

"Aw! Gray!" I cried. It hurts. Big time. How did I even got this? And I think I'll cry because of this pain.

"Sshh. Sorry, sorry."

"Gray, it hurts."

"Don't worry, I got this."

Gray puts his hands on my swollen foot and his hands turned cold. He slowly massage my foot and I prevent myself to cry. But Gray handled it with love and care, that I almost forgot the pain. I'm so touched. I kissed Gray on his lips.

"Thank you, Beary. I love you veeery much." I said while pinching his right cheek. Gray holds my hand on his cheek and his other hand didn't stop massaging my foot. I think, It got better.

"Anything for my honey." He said lovingly and kissed my hand. Suddenly, I feel that Gray is tickling my foot.

"Hahaha! Gray stop it!"

"Haha! Let's camp here. It's getting dark."

Oh, I didn't notice that it's getting dark.

Gray was the only one who set the tent. He didn't let me help because he said I'm injured. And because of that I felt bad about it.
"Beary, please let me help. I'm fine now." I said while showing my foot. It's slightly red now and a can still feel a little bit pain but I'm fine now. But Gray doesn't believe me.

"Honey, don't be stubborn. Just stay there." He said while setting the fire.

Hmph, I'll just give him a powerful kiss from his lovely girlfriend. And thinking my plan for later, I can't stop smiling. I saw Gray walking towards me.

"What are you thinking? Smiling while looking at me? Planning something, honey?" Gray said. He hugged me from behind and and kissed my cheeks. Did you notice that we love to kiss each other?

"Well as a thank you, I'll give you a powerful kiss from your lovely girlfriend later."

"Really? Why not now?"

"Later, Beary."

"But I want it now, Honey."

"Ok."

Quickly, Gray went in front of me and closed his eyes, waiting.

I went closer and gave what he wanted.
