Monday, November 21st, 2017, another day of Keoitai High, my high school. It's unreal how short summer was, it's only the second month of school but it feels like the second day really, good thing it's the last year. I'm done with school. I got up and out of my bed and walked over to my closet, skimming through what I had hung and put away, I threw on a grey button up shirt and black pants.
"Nikolai! Come on downstairs for breakfast!" "Alright!", I took a look in the mirror, I fluffed up my blonde hair, straightened my shirt and headed downstairs. Walking into the kitchen, mom set down plates and throwed pancakes on them drizzling syrup right after. "Thanks mom!", I caught the fork she threw and dug in, she'd laugh. "You're welcome my little Niko!", she pinched my cheek.
"Awe mom! Stop doing that! I'm not freaking three anymore! I'm seventeen for God's sake!", I'd shake her hand away and take another bite. "Oh I know... But, I just miss you being little! It feels like only yesterday you were dancing in your diaper!", I choked on my food.
"M-Mom! What the hell! I'm trying to eat!", we'd both laugh and I'd finish eating, she'd pick up my plate and set it in the sink. I ran into the mud room by the kitchen and put my shoes and socks on and opened the front door. "Bye Mom love you! Have a good day!"
"Love you too! Don't forgot your backpack again!", I stopped and sighed while shutting the door.
"Right...", I ran into the living room, grab my backpack. "Thanks Mom! Bye!", I headed outside and shut the door, walking to the bus stop my best friends ran up to me, Moe, Kitten, and Shark. But those are only there nicknames. "NIKO! HAVE YOU HEARD?!", Kitten shouted. "Whoa Kitten what!", he looked at Shark and Moe. Shark pulled her back and came up to me. "There's a new girl coming to school today", Shark sighed. "Mhm", Moe agreed. "A... New girl?", I looked at all three of them, they all nodded. "Do you think she'll be in our home room?", Kitten asked. We all shrugged"Oh I hope she is!", she said while are bus pulled up next to the sidewalk.
"Well, let's go find out!", they nodded in agreement and jumped on the bus. The bus ride to the school was loud and obnoxious but not very long as usual, since there are a lot of little kids on the bus and the school was only fifteen minutes away, but we did stopped a couple of times on the way to pick up kids and drop them off at their schools. The bus got more and more quiet as we dropped kids off, finally we got to our last stop, Keoitia High school. Other students got off first since we sat in the back of the bus, the entire time, all i could hear was Kitten shouting about how excited she was to meet the new girl. Was I excited? Nervous? I wasn't sure on how I had felt about this 'new girl', where'd she come from? Who is she? What's she like? Millions of questions ran through my head as I walked to class as the bell rang.
"Alright class, today, is going to be just a little different today.", our teacher, Mr. Lycan had said. Everyone was confused on what he meant, before he could speak another word, Kitten shot her hand up into the air and waved it around like there was a bug messing with her. He'd sigh. "Yes, Madelyn?", she'd drop her hand.
"Is the new girl in our class?!", Mr. Lycan smiled and walked over to the door, he set his hand on the handle and opened the door slightly.
"Glad you asked Maddy....", he looked out in the hallway. "Come on in, your right on time", he nodded and opened the door more as a girl with jet black hair, red ear buds and a hoodie walked into the classroom, her face towards the floor. "Class this is our new student, I suggest you all behave yourselves and teach her good manners here at Keoitia. Understood?", the class nodded as she stared down. I tried to study her face but she made it very difficult. "Why don't you introduce your self, and then you can go ahead and take a seat anywhere.", she seemed really nervous, her whole body shook.
"H-Hello everyone.... Uh-um, m-my name is uh, L-Leona", she looked up a little from her hood, she made eye contact with me, her eyes, shone in the light. They glowed, they were absolutely beautiful, I've never seen eyes like that. Why was she looking at me? What are with her eyes?
