I couldn't keep my eyes away from hers, they were memorizing. It was like she had locked me in a gaze that I could not escape from unless she had looked away. Finally, she had directed her gaze back to her shoes. Did she look at anyone else? Or was it just me? I looked around to see if anyone had noticed her eyes, not a single person was looking at her. It was like she wasn't even there.
"Alright, well Leona. You may go have a seat right next to Madelyn, Madelyn can you wave?", Kitten raised her hand and waved around as if there were million flies around her head, the girl, Leona, brushed by me and sat in between Moe and Kitten, which was behind me.. Leona.. What an interesting name.. Class passed by today, like it usually does, but today, I hard a time focusing, who was she? The bell had rung and it had made me jump out of my seat. I collected my stuff and headed out to the hallway, waiting there for my group. They'd walk out, one by one, and circled around me.
"Please tell me you guys saw that..", I asked, they all looked at each other with confusion in there face, they turned to me. "What are you talking about?..", Moe glanced over at Kitten and Shark then looked back at me. "Her eyes! Did you see her eyes?! They like.. were glowing..", They'd laugh a little. "What? What's so funny?"
"Crushing on the new girl already huh?", Shark punched my arm lightly and chuckled as the girls giggled.
"What?! No! I'm being serious they were gl-", Leona slowly walked out of the classroom, I had forgotten she was in there.. Did she hear us? We all watched her walk by, she kept her head down. "Besides, I don't even know her.. Do YOU have a crush?", I lightly tapped his chest with my fist as I saw Moe from the corner of my eye glance up at Shark, He looked away from me and at the ceiling as he rubbed the back of his head. "Wait.. Do you?!"
"Uhhh.. let's just.. head to class yeah?", Everyone nodded and walked off as I stood there. "What!? Are we really going to ignore what he just said?!"
"YES!", Shark had shouted from across the hall. Well I guess that answers my question, next two classes were also as short, a little too short. I can't stop thinking about her, she's very strange. I headed down to the cafeteria, Shark was sitting next to Kitten and Moe, which was odd since he was always sat next to me and the girls across from us. Why were things different? I finally realized why they were like that when I heard kitten across the room.
"LEONA! COME SIT WITH US!", I face palmed and walked over. "Niko don't sit on the edge, sit across from me.", I have learned from the past to not question Kitten, so I did as she asked. Leona came over and sat in my seat, the edge. She'd look over at me, her eyes weren't glowing or shining.. They were a normal blue.. I know what I saw this morning, they were glowing. I know it.

"Hi Leona! I'm Madelyn, that's Moesha, Ethan, and beside you is Nikolai", She'd smile at me and held out her hand, I cautiously shook it.
"Nice to meet you Nikolai", I nodded slowly and let go of her hand, she'd face back to Kitten. "It's nice to meet all of you and thank you for inviting me to sit with you..", Kitten smiled.
