Today I stare at her again, still making sure she doesn't notice my eyes looking at her. I gaze at her face, noticing every feature...missing every feature. I look at her hair remembering how it used to feel, she kept it short now I just realized...
Miles P.O.V.
It's lunch now so I walk to my usual spot in Mr.Ray's class. As I expected they are all doing their own thing in class: Bri and Cam are fighting over the keyboard, Mr. Ray is trying to calm the two girls and sort everything out the best he can, and Vic is laid out on a few desks watching the hilarious mayhem.
Miles:"Hey" I said waving at everyone.
Everyone:"Hi" Everyone said almost simultaneously.
Cammy, using this as a distraction to her advantage, bumps Briara out of the way so she can have the computer to herself.
Briara:"Come on Cammy you had it all day yesterday it's not faair." she said pouting
Vicky:"Well I haven't had the computer in forever but you don't see me complaining."
Briara:"Ugh whatever..."
Bri gives up, giving Cam full reign, and lies besides Vic giving her a head pillow.
As I laugh at the nonsense happening I notice that Mr.Ray's desk is full of papers he is trying to organize. "What are those for Mr.Ray?" I ask
Mr.Ray:"Oh these are the graded papers from the exam Friday, see."
He shows me a random kid's paper with a whole grade of an F stamped proudly on the upper left. Whoever's exam it was was going to be pissed, but they probably didn't do anything since the exam was so easy...imo of course.
Miles:"Your test was easy Mr.Ray."
Mr.Ray:"You thought so?"
Miles:"Yeah, very, so what'd I get?"
Vicky:An A what do you think?" Vic said laughing.
Mr.Ray:Yep you got an A good job Miles." Mr.Ray said smiling.
Miles:"Thank you" I said smiling back
Mr.Ray:"I expected nothing less from my star student."
Cammy:"I thought I was your star student."
Vic, taking this moment of weakness, gets up and drop kicks Cammy off of the computer for her own fun.
Vicky:"Your the star student of most of the school Ms.Number 1 Junior hehe."
While it's Vic's turn to fight over the computer with Cam, me and Bri smile at each other for a while longer than usual then watch our hilarious two friends.
Mr.Ray's P.O.V.
These kids are still distracting me from my work, when will they stop messing around? *Sigh*.... I look up and laugh as I see Miles and Brisa smiling at each other for a while. "
