Chirrup. Chirrup.

I shifted in my bed, cuddling against the covers that offered me a delicious warmth that I didn't want to lose. I could feel a soft breeze blow at my hair—that was odd. I could also hear the wind, and the birds were strangely louder than usual. . . I could have sworn I had shut the window before I had fallen asleep.

I heard something shift beside me. My bed gave a soft groan of protest at the weight of another person. Was Anthony with me? My eyes flashed open in only to be met with the sight of Lure. Alarmed, I sat up and stared down at him and his little grin. My gazed traveled downwards and I came to the abrupt realization that he was shirtless.

Oh help me, he was fine.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him, breathless.

"I was only watching you sleep," he stated in an innocent tone that completely contrasted with his expression. I rolled my eyes in response, then frowned when a particularly loud chirp made my attention drift to the window, which was open. I swore I had closed it. . .

"Your mom came in here really early and opened it," Lure explained, seeing my perplexed expression. "Lay back down."

I shrugged and did as he asked, then regarded him with arched eyebrows. "How long have you been here?" I asked, snuggling to the warmth of the covers.

Lure shrugged and rolled onto his side, bringing himself closer to me. From out of the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me with those stormy eyes of his. "About an hour before your mom walked in, so. . . since 6:00am?"

I yawned and closed my eyes, feeling sleep threatening to take over. Opening one eye, I peeked at the alarm clock next to the bed which flashed 8:32am in my direction. I was up much too early for a Saturday.

"It's the weekend, and I'm awake at 8:32am?" I groaned. I heard Lure chuckle and I tried not to smile—his laugh was so capturing. I loved it. "I'm gonna sleep some more," I said, smacking my lips and turning onto my side, away from Lure. I heard Lure scoff as I felt myself drift in and out of a dazing sleep.

A few minutes later, I peeked at the alarm clock.

7:38am.

I sighed and turned around to face Lure. He was still watching me. I felt myself flush when I realized his eyes were a deep red. "What are you thinking about?" I asked, softly.

Lure's gaze flickered onto mine and a grin slipped over his lips. "You don't want to know."

This made me frown suspiciously—but it also increased my curiosity. My curiosity won, and so I said, "Sure I do. It can't be that bad."

Lure sat up, still grinning that pleased grin, and peered down at me almost pryingly. Slowly, he trailed his gaze along my body, making sure to catch every inch and curve; making sure I knew what he was doing.

The pervert.

"Quit that!" I mumbled, pulling the covers off of him and wrapping them securely around myself. "Now. What were you thinking about?"

"What you'd look like naked," Lure replied a little too cheerfully. My mouth fell open—I tried to kick him, but my foot passed right through him. Lure only allowed his grin to die down into a smirk. He shifted slightly and raised his eyebrows suggestively, ruby eyes flushed with lust. He lay back down while I narrowed my eyes at him. Wonderful. I had a horny demon in my bed.

Lure ducked his head under my chin and rested it there for a while. A silence greeted us, like it always did, and it made curiosity tug at me again.
