Heyy guys so i've never written a story on here so I hope you enjoy it. I know these vampire/werewolf stories are popular and quite frankly I love them! Go easy on me it's my first and I'm doing this on the spot so its unedited. If a word doesn't fit in the story, comment and let me know - autocorrect seriously has it in for me. Here it goes... Life as a leech.
P.s. I do not own the image attached. (Clearly)

Chapter One: Us.
Let me start this off by introducing myself. My name is Azora Edwards, I was named Azora after the blue of my eyes. Cheesy, I know. But it fits and I've always liked my name.
I am a Vampire, though save your judgment, we don't all live up to the careless, unforgiving demons that Vampires have been described as since the beginning of time. I was turned when I was 19 years old back in October of 1859 which makes me roughly 156 years old.
Yeah, old I know but physically I don't age so I will stay young for eternity. This may seem like a dream come true to some but for me it's been a struggle that I have come to make peace with over time and this is a story of one of the craziest, hardest yet most beautiful lifetimes that I have ever been blessed to live.

Walking through the gates to college the smell hits me like a train. Sweet though slightly bitter, succulent, floral... every gorgeous smell you could think of all crammed together into a delicious cloud around me, when I neared people the smell becoming stronger and harder to bear.
My throat burned as if someone had chucked a fist full of flames down my airways, making it hard to hold back. I wasn't new at this but I had iscolated myself from such large crowds for a while so of course when I idiotically threw myself into a college to 'try out normality', I've found that the thirst takes a while to get used to.
I held my breath and looked up at the trees, I could see Cameron, Taylor and Ollie up there, they caught my eye and smiled apologetically. I gave a small nod and walked inside through the corridors, saying hello to some guys that greeted me at the door then let me walk on by.
People looked at me and backed out of my way, letting me pass without a word as I stared ahead and walked quicker than the average human speed towards the mirror situated by the girl's bathrooms.
When I made it there I looked in the mirror, making sure my makeup wasn't running - and no, before you think it, I'm not one of those girls who wear layers apon layers of foundation but not blending it correctly so it sits in an orange line across my jaw - but I do enjoy wearing light makeup, whether i need it or not.
Charlotte was stood there trying to fix her over hairsprayed hair, throwing me a childishly sarcastic smile to which I ignored. Charlotte was an old friend of mine, human and unknowing of my secret identity. She was with me through some rough times as I were with her but just as I began to trust her enough to tell her what I am, she dumped me like a sack of potatoes for a newer, trendier group of people - I'm sure we all know someone like that. But through losing someone you thought was your bestfriend, I found truer friends that are far from normal; seeing as I'm the furthest from the 'norm' they suit me just fine.
Classes began and the first two passed quickly. The bell rang for break while I was listening in on a conversation happening between a group of people in the class down the hall, snapping me out of my eavesdropping.
As everyone jumped from their seats their smell hit me. I clenched my fists resisting the hunger as I felt my eyes turn darker. When I had gained control I noticed someone staring at me with an expression crossed between fear and curiosity. I instantly locked their gaze and watched as their eyes glowed yellow for a second before they turned around slowly.
