I wake up sighing, last night dream was too real and it scared me. I got up doing my normal bathroom routine and went in my room with a towel. I sat in front of my mirror straightening my hair. I put on my romper when I was done. For makeup I just put on mascara and lip gloss. I slipped my flats & cardigan on as I went to grab my hat and bag.
"Mami, papi I had a strange dream last night.... Daniel and his family was back and y'all said I had to get mar...." I stop half sentence I walked into the kitchen and and saw that the Rodriguez family was also over. "So it wasn't a dream, it was actually a reality" I said in disbelief.
"I refuse to marry him and no one can make me" I told my father as I got closer to the table.
"You have to and that is final" my dad half yelled. I was shocked because my dad have never really yelled at me before and this was unbelievable.
I looked around the table as everyone look at us with silence " I refuse to, for goodness sake I don't even know who he is anymore." I said throwing my hands up. It was getting too hot in here and I needed to get out soon.
"Oh don't be ridiculous honey, you've known Daniel since y'all was in diapers." My mom said shaking her head.
"Mami that was 5 years ago, 5 YEARS why can't yall understand that Daniel chose to walk out my life and I would like to keep him out of it." I basically yell, but then I stumbled and I knew what was about to happen next. I thought I got over this I thought I could do it.
"Rose honey please don't tell me you ar..." My mami started to say but I didn't let her finish because then Daniel will know too much.
"No mami I'm ohkay I'm just gonna go upstairs to lay down for a bit." I said kissing her cheek. I couldn't tell her, my mom was the only person who knew except Daniel that I had a serious case of anxiety. Before when Daniel was here he would always help to breathe and control it, but when he left it just got a whole lot worse. My throat would start clogging, my hair & hands became sweaty and then I end up fainting.
I went into my room and called to cancel all my plans. I just needed a shower and a good sleep. Going into the shower I put some music on to help me relax. After 30 minutes of singing and dancing in the shower😂 I got out. I went in my room and put on my sweatpants with tank top and went to sleep.
I woke up to a ringing of my phone. I picked it up. "Rose you bitch where are you" Marilyn my Bestfriend asked.
"I'm sleeping" I told her.
"Then who the fuck gone pick me up" she said.
I jolted up when she said this "oh shit Mari I'm so sorry, I thought you was gonna arrive tomorrow" I told her while trynna find clothes to wear.
She was laughing on the other side"it's okay Rose just hurry up and pick me up, I miss my Bestfriend." We say our quick goodbyes and then hung up.
