Nick the Slayer

Chapter 3

          Malaysia screamed in my ear while I was sleeping. "Nick! Nick! Nick! Nick!" I screamed, and fell off the bed. "Here." She handed me the phone. "Its Jy." She said. "Hello?" I said still groggy from my adventure from my bed to the floor. "Hey. Can you drive us to school?" She asked. "Who do you mean by us?" I asked. "Me, Ross, Zach, and Ella. Well not Zach because he's going with his girlfriend. Can you believe today is the last day of school the we go to college?" She practically screamed over the phone. "Oh no! College! I didn't apply anywhere! Damnit! I'm going to be so far behind." "Just apply now to North Eastern Community College. Its right here in Willsburgh, Ohio!" She said. "Where are you going?" "NECC" She said sternly, totally annoyed at the fact that I forgot. "Ok. Let me get dressed. Go ahead and come over now." I said. "Ok. Bye." And we hung up.

         I put on jeans, a red shirt, a leather jacket, and my mom's old biker boots, and went downstairs. "Malaysia, do you want pancakes or just cereal?" I asked somehow is a great mood. "Just cereal. Is that Eli, is he your boyfriend?" She asked. "Why do you say that?" I asked. "Because I kinda saw you kissing." She said. I paused. "Um... Ya I guess so. Listen, save yourself and do not have a demon for a boyfriend." "Why not?" She asked. "Because..." I hesitated, debating if I should tell her. "I had a warlock or wizard whatever you want to call a male witch, but I had one for a boyfriend. Lets just say that he tried to destroy the world. "Why did he do that?" She asked. "Because I told him that we should take a break. He was so mad that he killed the first person that he saw. It was my friend Shadow. After that he tried to destroy the world, but ended up just killing himself." I said. She was silent. "So how are your grades?" I asked. "Um. Fine, uh I'm going to walk to school. With my friend, Matt. Love you, bye!" And she ran out the door.

Malaysia's POV

"Hi Malaysia! How are you?" A woman about 35 answered the door. "Good, is Matt here?" She looked at me. "I thought you guys broke up." I didn't understand. He was just at my house. We slept together. Was I that bad? "But... no! No we're not!" I was almost in tears now. "I'll get him." She walked away. Matt came outside and shut the door. "I'm sorry. I want to be with you but I don't want you to get in trouble." He said. "Excuse me?" I was puzzled. "I don't think your mom would like you and i being wer-" I cut him off. "My mom is dead!" I can't believe I just said that. We were still. It was as if time stopped. I broke the stillness by running. I had no clue where to go. I ran to an old building, which was almost falling down. I went inside and slammed the door. My heart was racing. My head was spinning.

I heard something growl. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Nothing. I heard something fall. It was a loud thump. I heard footsteps. Someone was coming down the stairs. "Who are you and why are you here?" A low voice said. "I won't answer until you come closer." I said. I heard the creaking of the floorboards when he was coming closer. He looked at me closely and then his eyes popped. "Eli?" I said.

His face was different than usual. He had blood on his teeth and they were pointy. "You're a vampire!?" I partially screamed. "Shh!" He put his index finger over his mouth. "I knew there was something about you! At first I thought you were just a weirdo stalker guy that was going to fuck my sister, only to find out that you are that guy but a vampire! A creepy weirdo stalker and perverted vampire! Oh my God!" I grabbed a piece of wood that was lying on the ground. "You chose this place as a hideout? What, are you looking to get killed?" I was freaking out. "Wait! I know how you feel right now. I do, but I would never hurt your sister. I swear. I've changed. Put the stake down." I put it in my back pocket. "Good. I used to be a killer, until I got my soul back. Now I get animal blood from the butcher. I'm sorry." He changed back into his human form. "Now, today is a school day right? You better get going." He smiled. "Ok, right. Bye." I said and walked out the door.

Eli walked upstairs. "Boss, when are they going to wake up?" He pointed to a piled of bodies, which all of them have been bitten. "I don't know, but soon." Eli said. He looked at the wall. There was a picture of every slayer. Below each picture was the slayers birth and death date. Below Nicks was 2000 - 2016. "Very soon." Eli said again.

I walked out of there. That place was giving me the creeps. I still don't believe Eli. He's a vampire. All evil things are evil. I went back home and changed into my favorite pair of black jeans, and my favorite grey and black shirt. Then I fixed my hair and makeup. "Hey! Stop it!" Laughing was coming from downstairs. I quietly walked by the stairs making sure i wasn't seen. Nick's friends were downstairs. The boy was making out with a girl and she was telling him that they should wait and do that privately. I rolled my eyes. "I'll be right back." I heard Nick say. I ran into my room, closing the door, but leaving enough space so I could look out of. Nick went in the bathroom which is right across from my room. She opened the medicine cabinet and took out a pill bottle. She took some pills, put the bottle back, and went downstairs. "Come on, we have to go to school." They laughed and went out the door. I went into the bathroom, grabbed to pill bottle and looked at it. There is no prescription. I had to tell someone. So I went to Eli.
