Chapter 1 - Seeing Them

It was daytime now as I was swimming, not swimming nice and calmly I was swimming fast and in panic. I was being chased by fishermen and a man named Ronin, he was trying to catch me for my scales, I swam down into a dark cave away from the boat. The boat zoomed past my hiding spot, I sighed and whispered " that was close". Oh hello my name is Y/n but Ronin calls me " scales", weird name huh but it's just a name,  he has been chasing me since the day I was born, he caught my parents and that was the last time I heard from them, I know they had died. I cautiously creeped out of my hiding place with my aqua tail flowing behind me. Let me tell you about myself, my chest has nothing on it, I have my aqua tail, I have finns on my arms as well, I have gills on the sides of my neck too, I have long dark brown hair , I have green eyes, my teeth are like vampire teeth just they have the same at the bottom too.There is one other thing that Ronin wants, it's my water powers.

 I swimming towards my home, which is a ship wreak, its big enough to fit just one mermaid, I swam thru the coral reef towards it. I made it safely home and swam in. I sighed happily because I finally made it home. I love it outside it's just Ronin gets in the way. My little fish friend Zap that is a clown fish came in and said" hello there Y/n , how was your day", I sighed and said" awful Ronin came again, he never gives up on trying to catch me", he sighed and said" I have heard rumors  that he is getting five boys to come and help catch you". I looked at him in shock, then turned around and swam towards my rock and sat on it leaning my head on my hands. " why does it have to be me, my family died and he got their scales and now he wants mine also my powers, I'm not going to live if he gets five more boys" I said. Zap swam up to me and layed down on my lap and said " don't worry you won't die I promise". I smiled weakly and patted him, then I looked up at the hole in the roof to see it was nighttime.

I said " see you soon Zap it's nighttime", he nodded and swam back to his home that was in the coral reef I passed by, I got up off my rock and swam to the rock I sit on at nighttime to sing, I flapped my tail making my way to my rock. I made it to the surface lifting my top half of my head out just in case someone was there, I looked around to see the cost is clear and lifting the rest of my head out, I smiled as I swam to my rock, I lifted my body out of the water to sit on it, I sat down and started to sing my song.

We clawed, we chained our hearts in vain~

We jumped never asking why, we kissed, I fell under your spell~

A love no one could deny~

The water started to bubble and rise against my rock.

I came in like a wreaking ball~

The waves that were rising soon launched into the air spiraling around me.

I never hit so hard in love~

 All I wanted was to break your walls~

All you ever do was wreak me~

The water died down but was still spiraling me.

I put you high up in the sky and now your not coming down~

It slowly turned you let me burn and now where ashes on the ground~

The water once again rised spinning and moving around the way I was moving my arms, waves started to form hitting my rock and splashing on me.

Waves started to move around and become spirals and the others that I was controlling with my hands I threw up in the air and it spreaded and sprinkled on me.

 Yeah, I just closed my eyes and swung~

The waves and the water spirals died down once again.

I never ment to start a war~

I just wanted you to let me in~

And instead of using force~

The water spirals and waves had vanished back to normal water and  I put my hands back onto the rock.

I guess I should have let you win~

I lifted me hands and the water started to rise towards my hands swirling here and there.

I raised my hand and the water shot up in the air swirling and sprinkling as well as the waves rising towards my rock.

I finished my song and the water went back to it original position, just as I was about to hop back in the water I saw a boat with lights heading my direction about to crash, it had five boys on it. I gasped as I jumped into the water swimming away from the boat to make sure I don't get hit by it. I saw the boat crash on my rock, I gasped again and swam to the surface, I lifted half my head out to see five boys in different colour clothes. One was red with brown hair, one was black with black hair, one was blue with light brown hair, one was white with blonde hair and the last boy caught my eye, he was in green and had blonde hair too. I smiled and bobbed underwater and made my way to the boat, I knew that these boys are the ones Ronin ordered to come and catch me. I sighed but I still made my way to the boys, cautiously thou. I lifted  my head out of the water and pulled myself up to lean on the side of the boat.

I looked at the boys to see them all wake just bleeding, I sighed and whispered " hello". They jumped and looked towards me then their eyes went wide, they started to back away from the side that I was on. I whispered " your going to knock over the-". They moved to close to the other end, the boat tipped over and made me fall in the water and saw them and whispered" boat". I sighed and swam up to them but the kept backing away. Then I heard a boat coming in our direction, I turned to see the bottom of Ronins boat. I gasped and my eyes went wide, I turned around and swam down into the darkness of the ocean going home to my ship wreak.
