The Hunters

Chapter One

•Terra's POV•

2 words. Demon Hunter. That's what I am. No I'm not crazy, I just have seen a side of nature that you haven't. Ever since my parents death I wanted to know who did that to them, or should I say 'what' did that to them.

That's when I learned the unbelievable sight of what you guys would call fake. Sure, it can be bad at times, but I met my best friend, and partner, Charlie.

She was just like me at one point. Sure she was wiser, smarter, and prettier but that just made us a better team. Soon enough we became like sisters.

"So once you see him you need to get

him to come to the west side of the graveyard and I'll shoot him. Got it?" Charlie says while closing one of the duffles filled with weapons.

I quickly stick one of the guns hin the waistband of my jeans and and nod my head ferociously. I start running towards the old, abandoned building and stop to listen for him. When I hear nothing I know what I have to do.

I tip toe my way to the door and sneak in. As I round the corner I see him, A vampire. "HEY! You want to get a bite or are you too scared?" I yell in his direction.

He turns around and starts running at me. I quickly run out the door towards the graveyard. Once I get to the gate of the graveyard I stop and turn. No sight of him. "I'm right here!" I yell drawing the word here out.

Silence. All I can hear is the wind howling in the sky. I feel a swift movement behind me and turn fast. I come face to face with the vampire. His eyes glowing a blood red and his teeth start to come out.

"You stupid human. You can't kill me." He hisses out. I inhale sharply, "Who said that's my plan?" He starts to breathe heavier and looks a lot more pissed off.

I smirk in his direction, 1. 2. 3. I run as fast as I can till I reach right between the two trees, where Charlie said to meet. I feel a pair of hands lock around my neck and tighten.

I elbow him in the stomach and then duck. Soon after I hear a gunshot, then a chop, his head. He's gone. "You should've been a little more careful, Terra! You could've got us killed!" Charlie's voice annoyed.

"Sorry ms. Perfect." I remark as we start heading to the car.

"Oh shut-up. Let's just make it to somewhere we can eat." She replies as we get in the car.

~Charlie's POV~

"You're mad at me aren't you?" Terra asked as she let out a sigh.

"No. Maybe. A little bit. Yes, okay I'm mad. We had a plan." I said as I gripped the steering wheel tighter as I went over our mission in my head.

"I followed the plan!" Terra said defending herself.

"Really? So where in the plan did it say almost get eaten by a vampire?" I asked.

"I'm sorry okay?" Terra said as she leaned her head against the window.

"I'm looking out for us here. I don't want to get killed by a demon and I don't want you to either. I know your new at this but-"

"Charlie, someone's following us!" Terra said franticly as she peered through the back window.

"A demon?" I asked checking in the review mirror.

"Do demons know how to drive?" She asked still starring out the back window.

"I can't wait for the car to catch up so you can ask." I said replying to her stupid question.

~Terra's POV~

As I keep my eyes steady on the car behind us, I start to notice something.

"Charlie, I know that car!" I yell out causing her to jump a little.

"Then who is it?" Her voice very impatient yet cautious. "I don't know.. I mean maybe I do I just don't remember." I state quiet enough that it turns into a whisper.

M m. N m Mn. N.

"There! Stop here." I say to her as I turn back around and unbuckle. I took the gun I had before and stuck it in my pocket, just incase the ones following us were something bad.

I mean, they could be possessed for all I know. Whether Charlie believes me or not. We come to a halt and we open the car doors.

By the time she got out I was already standing with my hands casually on my hips, secretly one on my gun.

As we get were out, the black car comes to a stop too. That's when my eyes became glued to the two boys. The Winchesters.

~Charlie's POV~

"It's the Winchesters!" Terra said in awe as she stared at the two boys walking towards our car.

"The who?" I ask as I pull my gun out of the glove department.

"They're demon hunters like us. Except better. How haven't you heard about them?" Terra replied as she reached for the door handle.

"Because I don't keep up with gossip." I say as I lean against the side of the car and wait for the two Winchester boys to make there way over to us.

"Who are you?" The older looking brother asked Terra and I as he stopped in front of us.

"Glad to see you have manners. But I should be the one asking you that question. After all you were the ones following us." I replied. That comment got me an elbow in the ribs from Terra.

"I'm Terra and this is Charlie." Terra said with a smile on her face.

"I'm Sam and this is Dean." The younger brother informed us.

"Nice to meet you." Terra said sweetly.

"Well, nice meeting you. But I'm hungry so I'm going to go eat. Bye." I said as I walked toward the diner but stupid Terra had to be nice.

"You should come eat with us." Terra told the guys. And with that we all walked to the diner together.
